Signing Matic further supports Jose's "play not to lose" philosophy
My initial thought was Abramovich was providing the buying club with an extra £20m-£30m, which then gets given back to Chelsea and helps them avoid FFP.I've brought this up over the Luiz sale... their owner is loaded like ours, so why do they get over the asking price whist clubs think they can have us over???
The lunchtime KO was the following season - the 3-3 draw - it was brought forward because of the trouble in the North Stand at the 5-1.Do I remember this game being an 11.30 am KO ?
Ah.I knew one derby KO very early one season,I just thought it was the 5-1 demolition game. The lunchtime KO was the following season - the 3-3 draw - it was brought forward because of the trouble in the North Stand at the 5-1.
Thanks B.It appears that the game in question was the 3-3 derby game that KO at mid-dayish.No mate, 3pm on the Saturday
this should bring back the goosebumps.
Lakey was magnificent that day as was David Oldfield and Bish.In fact there wasn`t an average player that day.Lake stayed on his feet. That was the key!
So mediocre they had to name him twice so the rag hordes would know how to spell itSo good they named him twice.

He will gain rag immunity being the dirty bastard he is. Him and bogbrush legally allowed to maim and kill whilst Bernardo gets a 10 match ban for the crime of speaking to a ref without permission.£40m for Matic is well dodgy

Yours sounds more truthful.Edited for accuracy.

Well it was an early season 'relegation' clash (ours not theirs).Actually IIRC, the commentary game on Radio Two - yes, it was that long ago - was the Scouse derby and they kept going to Stuart Hall for score updates.
According to the press this morning Rooney is struggling to find a new club as the clubs which want him cant afford his wages and the clubs who can afford his wages have absolutely no interest in him
