Kolarov and Nasri City legends. The reason I made the Lake comparison is as follows: Lake, rightly or wrongly, is considered a "legend" by many; he has a bar at the Etihad named after him; he's part of the commercial team that show people around. I saw him play many, many times. His time coincided with when I started traipsing to every away game. I saw nearly every game he played. And he won nothing. He was lauded as the next Colin Bell / Bobby Moore. Yet, someone like Kolarov, who was an instrumental part in two league titles, gets so much grief and vitriolic abuse. I'm comparing what the two won: one, a so-called "legend" won the square-root of fuck all; the other won the league. Twice. Something Bell, Lee, Summerbee etc never achieved. Kolarov should be lauded and celebrated as one of our best. Far better than Lake.
Lake, Bell, Summerbee, Lee overrated
