"Efforts to sign Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann, 26, for a fee that would have come close to the world record £89m United paid Juventus for midfielder Paul Pogba 12 months ago were compromised by Ibrahimovic's major knee injury."

compromised!?
hahaha.

I've just seen the article on the BBC's football site about Maureen being 'unhappy' at the rag's transfer activity. It really is groundhog day with this bloke: whinge, complain, moan, bleat, act like a petulant child, sow the seeds of discord wherever you go - honestly, I don't think this self-obsessed prick will even see Xmas at the swamp the way he's going.
Whenever he doesn't get his own way over something and he wants to air his grievances, somehow or other the press get a hold of it. Absolutely uncanny. If I were the cynical type I'd swear the cnut was trying to manoeuvre things so that he is seen as 100% blameless should anything go tits up.

He must be on extremely thin ice. Even in the relatively short time he's been at the swamp he appears to have alienated many senior players with his style of man-management. His rude, arrogant outbursts, and the way he treats the fawning, sycophantic media, and his inability to shoulder the blame when his team (once again) play out one of the most uninspiring, dreary, pedestrian 0-0 draws the Premier League has ever had the misfortune to witness.
If I had to pay a bloody Kings ransom to watch that dour, tedious excrement each week I'd feel suicidal.

Didnt help themselves by telling the world that ed had a list he, Peg was going on holiday and expected ed to sign all players before pre season. Open to major price hike for any player because of this.

We all know where this is heading with Jose, it has been inevitable from the start. Whether it's next season or the season after, at some point it is going to turn very ugly.

I love how our appointment of Pep forced them to a named manager against their better judgement. Enjoy the mickey mouse cups though I doubt you'll think they were worth it when this arrogant fuck drags your name through the dirt.

They do it every year.

Announcing promises of transfer war chest to the last three managers they had', statements of competing with anybody in the market, outpricing no one when buying a player for 2-3 times the actual value, richest club in the world mantra, etc. Add having a must buy list to these chest thumping PR, and it's no wonder they are digging their own graves when it comes to transfers.

I've just read that and wondered wtf the reporter was talking about, how did big nose getting injured 'compromise' Griezmann coming. The biggest thing that compromised it, was him not wanting to go to united, they don't half write some shite.

Great isn't it.

it doesn't even actually make any sense,
but the thick rags will nod along to it and repeat it verbatim.
it's on the bbc, after all. it must be true.

Contrast to Pep's cool, calm and collective approach of building a team up to success.

He really is a one-trick pony is Mourinho. I think his "methods" are all exposed now and he had nothing left.. charlatan. The press and media know exactly what buttons to press, what questinos to ask.. and teams know how to play against him.

All very predictable but great to see the implosion of the RAG's. Mourinho was never a long-term fit.. that is why Moyes was the Chosen One.

Sacked by Real Madrid, sacked by Chelsea, if he's sacked by the RAG's there's nowhere left for him to go he hasn't burnt bridges.. I suppose PSG but Carlo is a much better manager (Portugal National Team might be next for him). He might have to wind his neck in out of necessity as for the first time ever, Mourinho needs a club more than they need him. He is damaged goods.
All true, but your last sentence was actually true before the Rags got him, busted flush, nobody else wanted him, Rags were in doubt but pressed the panic button because of Pep. Had they not been run like a chip shop they'd have gone balls deep for Spuds manager

Just got in, have we discussed them and PSG agreeing to Neymar's £174m buyout clause?

It's one bullshit story after another on that BBC Gossip Column.

I find it staggering the number of united fans who are expecting mourinho to be there for 5-10 years it's as if they've not followed the guys career at all. He's going to leave them in a right mess with old players like Matic and Perisic on big money.

Most rags are probably still stuck in a reality that existed a decade ago, before HRH Sheikh Mansour upset the apple cart, in which the rags' manager seemed like he was going to be there for ever.

They think gollum and the turtle were just aberrations and the old order is being restored with a long tenure from the eye-gouger.

The pisscan tried to sweet-talk Pochetino before the rags got into bed with PEG, but poch knew which side his bread was buttered.
