We move on,no big deal.

Of course it's a big deal. He was free for a start now we need to sign Walker for a ridiculous amount AND buy a back up right back and then train them up to play Pep's way when Alves knew it inside and out. It's a proper pain in the arse this falling through.

Looks over. Sad as he would be good and would have given us a strong hand over Tottennham. However, like Laporte before him he can get to fuck. He himself was saying he wanted to sign for Pep live on tv not even 2 weeks ago.
Does nobody else think that its plausible that since she works in Paris she may have a place there, and they've stopped off at home after their honeymoon to drop of bags etc, he's only a 45 minute flight from Manchester there...it's not beyond the realm of sanity is it?

oh well I was hopefull and actually looking forward to Alves arriving. Albeit he is entering the twilight of his career he was still a major part with juve last season and he would have slotted in to Pep's style of play without the need for getting accustomed to it.

Preference ?

If indeed, he has joined PSG, it hardly matters, half the ones flapping about it, didn't want him because of his age anyways, it's laughable!

We'll move on and sign someone else, if he isn't coming, not a problem. Relax, people.

Have to wonder whether our relaxed approach of not pushing this over the line has hurt us but if his heart wasn't in it then like Laporte he's done us a favour.

I'm not too worried with this though, he'd have been great but there's plenty of decent right backs out there...

Too late to bring Sagna back?
