The thing is he showed in some games last season the absolute discontent he had at results, went mad at teammates/walked off on his own etc. So if he genuinely asks to leave and doesn't get his move he'll be even more isolated. He will still put a shift in but it's not good having that negative vibe around in what is a huge season for Arsenal.

Especially if you can basically swap him for Lemar who will be a young hungry player eager to prove himself.

Losing 10-2 over 2 leg chumps game has given him a 'moment of clarity. No way he will win the chump league in that team. No going back, he's on his way out without a doubt.

I think with those quotes he has made it pretty evident he wants out at Arsenal.

Correct. He's making it pretty clear now. You don't even have to read between the lines. It's up to us to agree a fee with Arse in good time before end of transfer window,which we will. This is a true game changer folks. Our attack will be frightening !

Sorry I just cannot bring myself.to get excited about the prospect of him coming, don't know why but I just really don't care if he signs

Maybe it's subconcious after Sanchez fucked us about when we went in early for him at Udinese and he held out for Barca that if I remember, causing a lot of annoyance on the forum?

Maybe because I only see Sane of Sterling suffering as we need to fit him into our front 3 and asuming Jesus will be in it and aguero, one of the young lads who progressed so much last year may be rotated more.(and I know we have 60+ and plenty of games to share rotations).

Maybe it's because we really don't need him and seems a pointless waste of 50m+ for a player we will probably get 2-3 years out of.

Maybe because his teasing of both us and arsenal fans of what he's gonna do next year instead of being straight and asking to leave is pretty dickish and piss taking towards the tarquins (and I hate the ****s and find anything that pisses them off funny normally , but we've had this from people.before).

Anyway if he comes I will back him as he's wearing blue, but I just feel non plussed about it.

Sanchez will be 29 this year. He knows he only has 3-4 years at his peak at most. He won't be waiting 1 year to see if Arsenal are capable of showing some kind of ambition. Not unless Arsenal force him to.
 
Totally get some people's concerns and thoughts. However, fwiw in my own opinion just think he makes the difference in being able to win the league and compete in the champions league. Just think he would add that incisiveness we missed last season. Really hoping we get him, but like others think he needs to up the ante if he wants to come. Whether or not we get him so excited about this season bring it on!
