Unfriend him, and be quick about it.
Don't know. Do you want to be my FB friend Noel?Is it Mikey Craig?
Brilliant casting.
As bold as the first regeneration. The original creator put in his pitch that at one point the character would become female. It's reboots and renews the show an I will watch with anticipation how it fares. If it fails they can always regenerate back to a male.
I am a whovian and felt embarrassed by some of the comments I've seen about it. The premise of the show is an alien that travels in a phone box through space fighting pepper pots and robots with teapot heads, whilst talking to a phallus with a giant eye. And they see a female being cast in an asexual character a bridge too far!
I think it's the reboot it needs to keep it fresh. Moffat got too fanwanky for the main stream audience. It will be interesting to see how it pans out.I absolutely love old Dr Who, grew up buying them all on VHS. The new series has been good in places, but going downhill for years now, killed off by Stephen Moffatt. A female Doctor feels totally contrived, but I can't say I really care anymore.
I forgot you were a fellow Whovian Mat!

Sad acts, geeks, people who don't go out of the house, people who don't listen to music...who even watches doctor who anymore
Oooooooooooooooo sorry mister hip and cool. I'm very happy, totally not a geek, I'm hardly ever in the house and never have music off since ditching talkshite. And I watch it. It's a family thing. So piss you ;-)Sad acts, geeks, people who don't go out of the house, people who don't listen to music...
Whittaker is a fine actress. It'll take some good writing to make it mesh well, particularly if they bring in a new companion as well.
I think the last series had some of the best writing for ages, apart from the last episodes which were poor. Now there's a new overlord, so we'll see. And with Missy gone (hurray, although at least they made her not completely irritating at the end), the Master presumably due to regenerate... it's all about getting the writing and enemies right.
I'm not convinced it will work, but we'll see. Capaldi/Bradley at Christmas will be a tough act to follow.
Persecuted by who?
