But we have to remember that we aren't the only ones spending and buying quality players. Chelsea, Liverpool and United have all shown they are prepared to spend. Arsenal are stronger (if they can keep Sanchez). No one wants to drop out of the top 4 and lose 50m+ in revenue.

I expect us to have the strongest squad. But it will still be a challenging season.

Opposing teams will all assume a fetal position before each game, and we will graciously only win each contest 10-0 before holding the victory parades at Christmas then touring local schools and hospitals for charity appearances. We will spend the spring doing exhibition matches and shooting a feature length film. Then tell Messi he isn't good enough to join us next summer.
