He's talking about wanting to sign 3 or 4 more players and there's a good chance that's Danilo (26), Bertrand (27) and Sanchez (28) as well as Mendy (23).

I don't think Bertrand is realistic. Southampton just watched us pay £50 million for England's first choice right back why would they accept less than that for England's first choice left back? They have told Liverpool to fuck off all summer unless they pay up for van Dijk they would do the same for us.
Bertrand is not England's first choice LB for a start.
Then there's the fact Bertrand is older, isn't coming from a direct rival, and wasn't in the PFA team of the year last season.
Blackburn, Lee, Mullock etc. have said Bertrand's looking unlikely, but they also say that the clubs were upping prices because they thought we were desperate, in which case briefing the friendly press you're not desperate and can just use Danilo seems like an obvious move.

I am getting confused about this Bayern hint and who it might be. Boateng plays CB, secondarily right fullback. Kimmich plays right fullback, secondarily CM. Given we have signed Kyle Walker and apparently Danilo too, the right fullback position should be covered. Or am I misunderstanding something here?
Boateng is not with Bayern on pre season tour by the way, not sure why. Is he injured?

He doesn't want to be a right back though. He sees himself as a CM and Bayern (and Germany) look at the fact he's the best RB they have and say he's playing RB.
