The ability to tackle would be helpful, KdB has many talents but that isn't one of them, I wouldn't fancy him isolated in our defensive third against a skillful opponent. He has the qualities needed when in possession but defensively he'd be lost IMO.

I liked a lot of things that were said.

-Pep reminds us and the media that he is building a squad not just for the next season but for the next 3/4/5 years.

-Says some players that were on loan and are now training in the US could possibly stay at City this season. I think it realt depends on the player if they prove themselves in the next 3 games they could earn a spot. Roberts could be one of them IMO hoping to see a lot of him.

-Praises Kelechi and says we'll have s buyback option which is great news, he could easily develop into a top striker and triple his value in a few seasons. Love Kelechi despite his amazing ability still a humble young man that puts his head and works as hard as possible no matter what happens. Can't wait to him as a starter and after a run of games.

-From my understanding Pep said 3-4 more players in total. This could be Mendy, Danilo (mainly RB but can also play LB and maybe DM), a CB and hopefully Sanchez. I think with these signings we will be ready for the new season and have probably our best squad ever, quality in every position and ready to compete on all fronts.

-Vinny always dedicated despite his injuries really looking forward and praying for him to stay fit for the season. The Best Cb in the world.
 
With the players we already have and are looking to acquire - Pep quoted a while ago that he does not expect the team he will build to be fully working in his ways until his 3rd season. Very exciting times ahead for all us Blues

Could well be actually. I heard "he's a" rather than "these are" as in Mendy is a Bayern player, corrected to Monaco player. But he definitely says players & on second hearing does sound like these.

Amusingly followed by "I have to be quiet in my comments".

Ah well, all fun & games I guess - buying from Bayern won't be easy if we do have a target there.
