And all other clubs would roll over and allow us - OK. The league is a given to no one I'm afraid. People on here who see us romping away with it (IMO) are going to be disappointed. We are capable of winning it, but we are not guaranteed winning it, even with Sanchez and Mbappe et al

I never said romping, but if we get all our targets and Sanchez being one of them then I , and I think most of the Bookies, will make us favourites. Chelsea may struggle, like most Champions, to repeat last seasons efforts. They are making a better fist of strengthening than most other Champions though. Especially us!

We have been favourites several times because of our squad. On paper, I would expect us to be favourites, but the league isn't won on paper

Nothing is guaranteed but getting him significantly increases our chances of winning the league. If we got RVP instead of the rags that year as planned I'm pretty sure we would of won it as well.

Sanchez is one of the best players in the league not only scores but also creates. On top of that he never stops running and is a menace when pressing. Last season if Arsenal didn't have him they would of finished behind Everton. He had a hand in about 44% of Arsenal's league goals if I remember correctly. He put the whole team on his back countless times, won games by himself when everyone else went hiding.

I dont disagree with anything above, my point is he wont guarantee us the league which has been inferred more than once in this thread

You are right, it's just the excitement of signing such a caliber of a player. I've also thought before we have the best squad and are strong favorites only for us to seriously underachieve but really this season I'm more confident than ever we'll win it.
