It's Quiet - a new dawn

The stench of rag is strong with you

I didn't expect so many replies for a post on the prices of the players. Calm down guys. I wasn't complaining about it at all. Just genuinely asking if that was the highest assembled starting XI.

This forum is so touchy and this RAG calling is out of place.

I think I'd rather see a top class DM over a CB to be fair. I'm convinced we'll be able to suffocate most games in the middle and get the attacking players on the ball enough, and the back 4 will actually improve significantly with the fullbacks and a little more protection in DM. Stones and Kompany would work well together.
My thoughts exactly. I'm a tad worried if we are planning to rely on dinho and yaya. Both unreal at their peak but as much as I hate to say it not at the height of their powers. Gundogan can't be relied on either.

I think it would be criminal after the money weve spent on upgrading our defence if mendy gets injured and we are left without a recognised lb , so another left back for me , who,ive no idea but I think we need one.

As a City fan for longer than most on this forum I am used to City being the subject of laughter and even sympathy from the fans of other teams. It was a matter of pride to say I was City and definitely not United then wait for all the jokes and patronising remarks other teams fans could muster.
Came the new era being owned by someone who had vision and has built us a team and a money making machine as well is still a little bewildering for me and after a few years almost being apologetic to be a City fan I have decided that my old defiant self must return.

From now on instead of being a little defensive of our spending I will tell all who criticise that they had better get used to it because we have a reputation to uphold in the transfer market because that is where we invest our profits in better players to make even more profits. Its our current Business Plan and long may it continue so the more we spend the more I will point to our profits and suggest they try it out.
