Samir Nasri

Nasri helped us in winning 2 titles and have served the club but thats where it ends. I dont get the sudden love for nasri from some fans saying he should stay. He lacks consistency but more importantly he wont be getting the game time he wants

Debruyne, Silva sr and jr, Gundogan will be all ahead of him and not to forget sterling and sane. And if sanchez or mabappe comes then he will be even further down the pecking order. He wouldnt wanna remain at city as a squad player so best to sell him.

Has he? you know that for a fact?

I recall Yaya not being happy not too long ago. Mate, I get you dont care for Nasri, but Yaya was equally a nob (if not worse) when he threw his strops
It's widely known that pep wanted him to stay last season. Nasri said I want out.

For an absolute nutter of a person, he has actually looked very good back with City - could be a nice x-factor is he remains with the squad. However, Samir's history suggests it's never a question of if he loses his mind but when

IMO Nasri last summer saw Pep coming in and being "the boss" with Hart and Yaya and thought better of dealing with the same authoritarianism. Since then he's seen Yaya's situation sorted and heard glowing reviews from the players about Pep. Plus his options elsewhere are not clear. So imo he now sees staying as his preference.

IMO all of that is no different to many situations we all go through at work. Except when I rant about the latest newage managerial initiatives there aren't a frenzy of fans posting on forums and tweeting to the world that I'm a c*nt.

What if Nasri didnt say i want out, but instead said " a lot has gone on, i feel i need a break and play elsewhere for a year, clear my head and come back next year with a clean slate and earn my place". Im sure weve all needed a good break at some point no?

How can you be so sure ;)

He chose to not give Pep a commitment and went on loan last season, and despite him coming back and putting in 2-3 shifts pep doesnt forget The bad in me says he is in the shop window and needs a club, like we saw a major increase in effort before he got his contract with us And the heaped praise by Pep was to up his fee However and i say this clutching my blue tinted glasses . He has undoubted talent and would love to think he can stay and be a part of a City team next season. but if he leaves i hope its not in the prem, Finally what he does off the pitch is of no concern, as long as its legal

This. We have a load of quality players in his position so why put up with the BS that comes with him.

We've got D Silva, De Bruyne, B Silva and potentially Gundogan that play in his position. Plus our most promising youngsters in Foden and Diaz are future 8's in my opinion. No room for him unfortunately

What history?

My point has gone completely over your head I feel. It wasn't too long ago Yaya was in the "I don't give a shit" mode and Pep has turned him around - short memories
This^ Not too long ago all and sundry wanted Yaya gone for being an absolute nob. Pep gave him a chance and, again, he is worshipped as a god by most here. Surely Samir should be given the same chance? There really are not that many better than him at what he can do. IMO of course!

Nasri is one of those players who you don't realise how good he is until he plays.

It's a weird type of contradiction but I'd say that we aren't a weaker team without Nasri but we are a stronger team with him if that makes sense.
