Pretty much everyone is reporting Neymar's representatives have paid his release clause. It won't even show up on PSG's books! It's technically a free transfer!

Unfortunately it might seem a clever ruse but UEFA will see right through it knowing full well where that money has come from and they will punish PSG.

PSG just need to now bite the bullet and hope they have done their sums right.

Either PSG gave Neymar the money in which case it will show up, or a third party gave Neymar the money, if it was Qatar then they may have to prove it wasnt connected to PSG. They arent out of the woods yet. That is assuming they couldnt pay the €220 mill and be within FFP.

It's quality Tolmie.

City will get a slight bashing for this as you know, being owned by who we are.

All being well, a fitting striker will be announced in the next couple of weeks.

It's going to lead to lengthy legal battles for sure, it's set a precedent now. Organisations like FIFPro will get behind Neymar, they've wanted player movement to be easier for a long time.
