They accused us of tapping one of their's, can't remember who. Then made a song and dance about trying to get Yaya, guess it was 3 or 4 seasons ago?
 
Brilliantly done PSG. Amazing statement from them,they were the only club that never cow towed to UEFA over FFP. Fair play to them.

Indeed they are. But Sky and BT publish their figures therefore advertisers know roughly their audience. I would imagine their spend is based on that figure with a small percentage added on top for growth and not a random number plucked out of the air because some people stream games illegally. If TV audience figures continue to fall then advertising spend will fall as well. You don't sponsor something with uncountable figures.

They are gonna get bent over on any transfer fee though, everyone knows they have €220m burning a hole in their pocket, expect them to pay somewheres in the range of €150m for coutinho, it's crazy just typing it

Paris St Germain President, Nasser Al-Khelaifi has sent out a clear threat to both Arsenal and Manchester City over their reported interest in Blaise Matuidi.

The midfield hardman wants out of PSG because president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is refusing to double his £40,000 weekly wage when his contract expires in the summer.

Transfer
City are reportedly readying a cut-price £3million offer for 26-year-old Matuidi, while Arsenal have become the latest team to be linked with a transfer-window swoop for the France international.

But when he was asked about the situation, Al-Khelaifi effectively threatened an all-out transfer war with any club who might try to sound out his players.

Conflict
Asked if he feared an approach from City for Matuidi, Al-Khelaifi said:
- No. Because they know that if they touch one of our players we will come into conflict with them. And we will also contact their players.

Barca need to make a statement now after being made to look like helpless minnows by PSG, is Coutinho enough of a statement? Not for me, don't even think he's good enough for Barca in all honesty. Dembele would be the natural and best replacement for Neymar, and whilst he will be very soon, he's not currently a big name and i think their sponsors will be putting pressure on them to sign a marketable name. Would not surprise me to see them go in strong for Hazard. Who else is even an option? There's not many, Dybala would be a great signing but again he's not that much of a big name yet and i can't see Juve selling. Mbappe with all the hype around him at the minute would probably fit the bill but he seems Madrid bound. Going to be an interesting few weeks anyway. Thankfully we've got all our players tied down to long contracts.

I wouldn't be surprised if the only reason PSG went after Neymar was to teach Barca a lesson and send a message to every other club out there that PSG won't be messed around with. Who is going to be brave enough to tap up one of their players behind their back after this.

Yeah I just posted an old article with their chairman threatening 'all-out transfer war' whoever went after their players. Looks like they meant it. Not sayin thats the sole reason but yeah who will fuck with them now. Fair play to them. Love it. Hope we make our own efforts with Mbappe.
