Whoever is missing from the starting line-up will have been dropped, snubbed, ignored, humiliated, seeking crisis talks and wanting away before the transfer deadline even if it's somebody we've only just signed according to all the Sunday papers.

The BHAFC forum is utter shite, they literally talk about everything except their own football club on there.
 
We're half the team when sterling doesn't play, he friggin looks so fired up for this season!!! That's coming from one of his biggest critics in the past I can't wait to see him this season. So hard to pick or even guess these sides pep will put out!
 
Hard to pick the team for this one purely because I'm not sure if we'll go 3-5-2 or 4-3-3. If it's 3-5-2 the only real questions are whether he goes for Sané or Danilo at LWB (pick Danilo please for the love of God Pep) and if Sterling gets a start (which I think he's more than earned over pre-season, certainly deserves his place more than Gabby or Aguero at the moment). If it's 4-3-3 then things are a little more complex.

Either way we're a bit thin on the ground at the moment so I assume the 18-man squad will be something like this:

Ederson, Bravo, Walker, Danilo, Kompany, Stones, Otamendi, Mangala, Fernandinho, Touré, De Bruyne, Silva, Bernardo, Nasri, Sterling, Sané, Jesus, Aguero

Those in bold are the ones I expect to start.

If we play anything like we have in the last three games then we will win. I expect Brighton to give us a good game, though. I'm predicting a 3-1, Sterling and Stones scoring with Touré adding a penalty.

I think he was playing 3 at the back in pre season as preperation to change, cant believe he will use it too much.

He is making putting any city player in my fantasy team so hard as i think the team will completely game to game....

We dont have a second team just 2 world class ones

Allow well over an hour from Brighton station. Odds on fans will have an extra pint and have an twinge of anxiety getting to the ground on time. Well over an hour is the recommendation for ordinary Championship games when the trains are working properly. Maybe more for the Premier League?

PS: play three at the back and it gives Brighton a sporting chance. Brighton will play 4-4-1-1 but both Baldock and Knockaert are already injured.
 
Can't remember looking forward to a season this much. Three at the back without doubt. Within seconds of the Brighton kick off they'll park the bus on the goal line between the posts and hope for the best. Two at the back - or is that just being cocky ? Lol....... When we play the better teams, looking forward to seeing Walker pin 'em back high up the pitch - a much underrated part of his game.

Although I would love to see Sterling and Sane in there, and I would love him to go with the 433 from last season, although the only droppable player in that line up to me is Otamendi. Still not 100% sure he'll start Aguero though..

The way the team is shaping up, opposing counter attacks won't be as problematic as last year - we now have the personnel to rapidly get back into position (we won't need to over commit anyway). That's how it'll be against Maureen's basketball team when they park the bus and launch it. I reckon that only Spurs and maybe Liverpool, will take us on all over the pitch. Chelsea will be cagey against us and even Arsenal will choose their moments. We just have so many options in the opposing half - if Sergio doesn't get you, Jesus will etc ............

They will give us a better game than the hammers just did,brighton are decent and full of confidence,take a win for granted and it'll be Cardiff all over again

I like the line up, just don't think Bernardo will start, think he'll be eased in. So I've replaced Bernardo with De bruyne.

Bring on Jesus for Aguero and Bernardo for KDB in the second half.
