Iheanacho to score the winner tonight and then lift his shirt to reveal a message underneath 'Free Alexis'.

Keita has a clause in his contract that kicks in next summer for £45M. And yet RB have rejected £75M this summer from Liverpool. Not much business sense in throwing away £30M, yet they are still doing it.

Yeah right. To be correct, the last bid rejected was said to be £66m, and his clause is €55m=£50m next summer.
£16m may not be enough for this special club on the edge to establish themselves among Top 3 Bundesliga.
They want to proof they are not a selling club anymore.
Let's see if they stick to that statement end of the window.
Keita will move to England next summer I guess.

Ok thanks, I see.
But even if they don't find a replacement (there is none anyway) they'll have to choose between XXm and 0m on Aug 31.
I think that's 2 different pairs of shoes.

Btw didn't those gooners say Arsenal have enough money?
Enough to offer Sanchez insane 15m p/y and nearly the same for Ozil - who is struggling all the way?

I'm sure Monaco just need some more for Lemar and they'll sell.
Even if Arsenal pay lets say 60m for Lemar and get only 40m for Sanchez they have Lemar for 20m come next summer.
Or Sanchez leaves for free+bonuses next summer and Lemar or whoever might cost 70m or more.

That risk would have to be justified by the performance of exactly that player who wants to leave to play CL footie, right?
If there is some kind of risk manager around in North London they should talk to him soon. :)

It makes no sense to me that they would let Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ozil and Sanchez all wind down to a zero value

I agree. But the only risk seems to be Sanchez.
Ozil will be very happy to stay for 280k p/w. Incredible. He would struggle to find another club at that wage level. Far too inconsistent.
Oxlade might move to Chelsea and it seems Arsenal don't care too much.

Remains Sanchez. They really might keep him as he is very special. But the risk that his head and heart is somewhere else is much too high.
Arsenal should clean up the table and be confident enough to build a future without him and a squad ready to 'die' for the club.

The last bid was £66M, Liverpool were prepared to go to £75M at least but didn't bother as they were basically told theres no point. I think if Coutinho were to leave they would go £80M+ if they had a sniff it would be accepted.

What you say about RB wanting to prove they aren't a selling club, is similar to Arsenal. Whether it's right or wrong, Arsenal believe they are on a par with the rest of the top 6, so they don't want to forced into selling their best player to a rival. They might have a bit of 'wee man' syndrome but that that's that might explain their determination to keep him.

Because we've tapped him up and he's coming to us next season.
I can't think of any other reason that he's not at the dippers.

You think RB would reject £75M from Liverpool because City want to sign him next year for £50M?

I think Keita would tell them that he's not going to Liverpool.

He certainly wanted to go to Liverpool this summer, every source in Germany, Guinea and the UK said so.

Next summer might be a different matter, 12 months is a long time and you could well position yourself in there. I think thats why Klopp was really pushing to get the deal done this summer.

there were some rumors we asked his camp to wait us for a year, I guess we might be all over him next summer if leipzig help a bit now :D

The same sources that state that VVD only wants Liverpool? Another pile of horse shit! Keita actually stated he wanted to play for either Barca Real Madrid or city

Good news. Money men at Arsenal don't want him injured obviously, but Wenger isn't prepared to do the deal 'till the very last minute to prevent us getting his services for a month, is the way I see it

The problem with that is wenger confirmed today he has to sell to buy anyone else? No takers for the rest of his players yet can get £50m straight away?
