Still reserving judgment on Pogba. If he turns it on against any team that isn't relegation fodder I may re evaluate and not wonder why he cost so much for the rags to claim him back.

Sorry mate but that is utter nonsense. Pure hyperbole. bergkamp, Henry, Zola, silva, aguero, yaya, lampard, Suarez , scholes*spit* and many more piss all over him. His first season in the premier league was littered with errors, many unforced.
And none of the legends you listed cost +100 mill

Stop talking shit.
Pogba,as we all really know is a class player, which is why City spent all of one summer trying to buy him.
As stated beforw,he had no pre season training last year and was with France up to the finals of the euros; he was poor.his first poor season in his career really.banter is one thing but dont come online and say a player is pure hyberbole, when he clearly is not.it just makes you look stupid.

So based on what you have seen of him in the premier league he is as good as the players i mentioned? Bollocks. I'm pretty sure all those players also played in world cups and confederation championships too. He might indeed turn out be as good, but nowhere near based on his return to date.

It is undoubted hyperbole to say he is one of the most talented players to have EVER played in the premier league after one shit season.

Pogba is clearly class and will continue to get better but he needs to be managed better by Mourinho, last season he was overplayed and thrown into the deep end, I would not class him in the 'Prem greats' players mentioned.

Yeah,i missed the bit about one of the best players to have ever played in the prem.i do not support that,no one could, not based on the erratic ,undisciplined performances of the player last season ,when, after being involved in international tournament football deep into the summer, being involved in a month long transfer saga that dragged on during pre season training ,an obviously under -par, but hyped to the max ,individual struggled to perform anything like what would be expected of a player who cost 100 million.
So....in the premier league thus far,it is rubbish to suggest he is one of the best.
To make myself clear however,is he shit? No. Of course he is not.
Do i hope he plays shit for the rest of the season,of course i do.
But,if you rated David Silva after just his first (under whelming)season in the premier league you wouldnt say he was shit...not based on his performances for club and country prior to joining City
Which.....when looking at Paul Pogbas career and stats for Juventus and France, nobody could say he was shit, least of all Manchester City who desperately tried
all summer long to sign the player, almost certainly on the nod of Pep.... he is an excellent player on form prior to joining utd,and apparently so so far this season, although i havent watched him this season which makes me hardly able to comment on his current performances.....so i will leave that to you....
How has Pogba played so far this season...shit,average ,very good or brilliant?

Can't work out what anyone has seen from him to regard him as class, unless going by the price tag and assuming.I watched most of the match Saturday and was thinking fuck me £90 million for that.Should be running games !

Silva was only underwhelming in the first half of his first season at City. He improved steadily as the season progressed and was consistently excellent by the end of the season. Pogba seems to me to be a more inconsistent player. I expect that he will have many more outstanding games this season than last but hopefully he will be one of those players who only turns it on in 3 games out of 5. I'm hoping that will be how United's season goes. They're clearly going to be better than last year but I think they're still going to be prone to more than their fair share of uninspired performances.

Having spent almost a year hiding in the bushes stalking the hospital and waiting for pogba to turn I am 100% glad this overhyped haircut didn't sign for us

Clearly they haven't seen enough of him so they just assume he's class because the media and most rag loving pundits say so. Same reason we got blues in this thread convinced that the rags will actually challenge for the title.

They are second favourites due to the amount of people betting on them and the loss the bookies may incur, they are probably a realistic 8 or 10/1
Correct, bookies are not interested in Paul fucking Pogba or Mourinho, the market is dictated by the weight of
bets placed.

The bookies view is irrelavnt, we have been favorites for years now and hasn't even been close to the title last few seasons. Rags were probably second favorites last year as well signing Pogba, the worlds most expensive player at the time and Big nose, one of the best strikers ever albeit quite old. The odds mean almost nothing.

I wouldn't consider PEG as second strongest manager, Conte is better so is Poch and maybe even Klopp, with the latter two punching well above their weight for years with limited resoures.

I just don't see them as even having the second strongest side, they are missing the world class players that the other top sides have, this is the difference. If they had a game changer one who decide any game at any moment and not maybe once in three games then they would be second strongest. They are missing an X factor like Bale.

I'm amazed Washington doesn't understand that.

After beating 2 of the worst teams in the league, Swansea who had two decent players, 1 has just left the other was in the stands.

I think they'll finish in the top three.

They have the best keeper in the league, a solid defence and some good forwards who are ideal for the counter attack.

But I don't personally understand the Pogba hype. He's far too inconsistent to be classed as a top player at the moment.

You're a guest on a City forum; you might do well to remember that. While you're perfectly entitled to your opinion, I can guarantee that if I went onto an Arsenal forum and started bigging up Spurs, it'd go down like a lead balloon.
Tbf we are all guest.
And i don't know whats wrong with his post.
He said we have a better team & squad but we are not on a whole new level to the rags.

I guess no one knows that yet. But everyone dismissing them as not contenders and wont make top 4 are talking bollocks imo.

Theyll be up there alright but i think we will have to much for them come next may.
