I'm not sure what you were seeing. I thought he was working really hard dropping into midfield countless times to make things happen.
Taking my up silva and de bruynes space yeah. Did little going forward struggled last night. Pep must have thought similar given he got subbed not aguero.

Aguero the hero the best we have had nobody is disputing that but he needs 3-4 shots to score a goal you & I know it ain't going to win us anything people need to stop thinking about the QPR game & think about Bournemouth & Liverpool games where we need him to turn up & start finishing his chances it's now to many just like last year it's costing us & I love the guy he is a legend but he's not the 1st on my sheet.
Attack Attack Attack

Ederson
Walker Otemendi Kompany Mendy
Gundagun
Sterling. D Silva Sane
Sanchez
Jesus

Bravo, Stones, KDB, B Silva, Dino , Yaya & Aguero

Now that's a squad!!!!!!!

Not press, look to pass + assist, and only shoot? Ok let's try that from our CF because his conversion rate is amazing right now.
He isn't comfortable pressing though is he, surely you can see that. Not all footballers are Einstein. Most simply do stuff by instinct & can't cope if they're asked to do something that's completely alien to them.

Sigh. Yeah...I've thought the same thing from the get go (why I wanted Jesus to start over Kun from the get go) but I don't want to be overly critical of Kun or negative really because it's not his fault.

I'd have liked Pep to adjust more to his squad rather than completely over haul the players that don't suit his system (mangala, Kun, KDB dropping deeper last year) but that obviously isn't going to happen. I love Kun but he's just not ideal for Pep. :/ fuck.

Edit: FWIW I thought Kuns effort last night was incredible despite all the negativity he's gotten from the match and I'm proud of him for that.

Can't argue with any of that Mate. Its just that the system we now play, and the roll Pep wants him to pĺay ìn it, isn't ideally suited to Kun imo.
Doesn't make Kun a poor player, by any stretch.
I'm with you in adjusting to the squad he had rather than the other way round too. In my opinion yòu can't win this league without having a bully in the side to give a bit back when every other team is continuously kicking lumps out of you.

Kun is one of the most potent strikers on the planet. I for one don't want him concentrating on who he should press who he should pass to how far he has to run back. I just want him to do what he does what he did before Pep tried to turn him into a complete player....whatever that is

Agreed, pep has ruined one of the best strikers on the planet. Ridiculous.

I think the solution regardless of whether aguero plays or not, because i don't think our striker is the problem although he definitely isn't as clinical anymore, is to have a Midfield of Kdb, Silva and Bernardo in because once those three were in last night we started bossing the game. All players looked much much better. I think it's astounding that we still bossed the game and were down to ten men. I see last night as honestly very very impressive. If we had not got a red card the game would have been won.

I'm certain that was "Robby" Madeley's opinion too

I agree with that. That 2nd half was hugely impressive from a defensive point of view (1 tame header conceded) as offensively we opened an extremely defensive side up by getting players to run at their defence.

Sub appearances can be deceptive against tiring opposition, but BSilva was incredibly impressive. A priority for Pep is to find a place in the line up for him. On the right of a front 3 perhaps.

I am getting increasingly puzzled as to why you haven't made a formal public bid yet. He's off on Monday, and we're only 10 days or so away from the end of the window. Sanchez himself must be wondering why City are dragging their feet so much. The time for all this 'we're keeping our powder dry' talk is over.

It's messy I tell ya it's messy ;)

I admire your optimism and hope we can move forward this season but you say the red robbed us of victory I think that their substitutions were a disaster and probably cost them the 3 points.
