If its was the case I am sure City would deny all the rumurs about us and Sanchez.. I think we will get him !!It is but I wonder if we know Arsenal won't sell now and have simply resigned ourselves to the fact we won't get him?

Nah, think he knows we are short up top. I just don't think we let Nacho etc go without knowing we have options to bring in, I hope thats the case...He did mention Sane along with Aguero and Jesus as ST options.

Well we'll have to be quick and given the lack of movement on it so far I'm extremely doubtful.

Agree but it's hardly for the sake of it. We've got two strikers - one of whom is 20 years old. It's not ideal for a season where we'll be playing 60+ games.

That's probable but a CB is the only incoming I can see and either Evans or Gibson aren't inspiring but jobworths. Sanchez on the other hand.

In theory we could well end up signing three more. We've two foreign spots and our net spend so far is around £120m. If we splurged £45m on Gibson and Martin, as well as £60m on Sanchez then our overall net spend is £220m which is before the likes of Mangala, Bony and Delph leave which could in theory recoup us around £40m.

Seeing as Usmanov thinks the club is being badly run on a footballing level his 30% or so would probably be happy if Sanchez wasn't sold,Still don't get how this would sit with the shareholders at the arse. £50-60m now or knob all in 12 months?
