I admire your attempt at jibe but my post still holds true. WBA obviously feel that Evans is worth hanging on to unless we stump up what they want and we obviously think that price is what we are going to have to pay if we want to sign him. It's not always a case of whether there is a queue of other clubs in for him but more a case of what the player is worth to both the buying and selling clubs. Not really hard to understand.Yeah, think we've seen Barcelona and Real Madrid off and I expect Evans to sign unless Bayern Munich come in for him. Quality like that doesn't come cheap
Baggies fans say he's been offered that but didn't sign. I'll go with them.it says that hes their top earner at 75k per week currently. Telegraph stated 4 days ago that hes been offered 85k a week. But no one knows whats hes really on, all speculation.
Journo from the mirror says 30m completed next week, hedging his bets given there is only a week leftAww, I thought we'd moved on. Is this still a goer then?
The only way to attempt to balance out the shitness of this deal is to sign Sanchez
Could be worse, could be John O'Shea.
Messi on a free might make it ok....On a free.
No shit Sherlock, I have no problem paying over the odds for quality, but not for a shite United cast off, who's slower than my dad, and who most of you would have taken the piss out of anyone else signing for that amount of money. How is that worse?
Well he his nearly 40, and no doubt Sunderland would demand £40M "in the current market".
It's a close call though.
But the club must think it's worth paying that for him, and that's what dictates his price. No shit Sherlock, I have no problem paying over the odds for quality, but not for a shite United cast off, who's slower than my dad, and who most of you would have taken the piss out of anyone else signing for that amount of money. Nobody's holding a gun to their heads.
