Not that I ever thought of Jonny fucking Evans to be the usual Pep type of player, but if he comes , I just hope he turns out to be an outstanding success, just to read all the reactions on this forum !

Same could be said the other way round then really, all the smart "arses" that forget how they slagged him off in red but now proclaim him to be second coming of the Kaiser and the thing is we can't laugh back at them because it would mean once again we have made a transfer fuck up and had another run of poor results if he makes mistakes, it is a no win situation for some fans but if you need to laugh at fellow City fans (not experts mate, fans) to get your jollies then good luck to you.

I don't " need " to laugh at anybody pal, but I don't proclaim to know everything fucking thing there is to know about every player under the sun - unlike so many on here .

Some of you saying he's automatically shit before even playing for us need to relax. Yes, he was dropped by Van Gaal because he favored Smalling, Jones and Rojo (look how that turned out for them). He seems to be doing a good job of anchoring a West Brom defense that doesn't concede all that much. He should be a good 4th option and should be able to step in if anything happens to any of our other CBs. My only issue is if the fee we pay for him will make it impossible to go after Aaron Martin.
It's evident on this thread that if you don't rate him it's because he used to play for utd and haven't got a clue about the game as Pep thinks it's a good signing. Personally, I think the ones defending the transfer have gone as much overboard as those against it, just they seem to think they have the moral high ground. To go one step further and think we might be gutted to see him doing well is fucking ridiculous. I hope he's brilliant every game he plays, or even better not involved at all because we're twatting teams 5-0.This.
