Just been looking around and it seems that WBA want Mangala, but Mangala wants Inter. WBA will not let Evans join either city or Arsenal unless they have signed Mangala first. City wont let Mangala join WBA until they have JFE. Solution we cant make Mangala sign for WBA, we can let him Join Inter. JFE stays at WBA. We have to look elsewhere in the time remaining.

So, to put our commercial and scouting fcukwittery acumen into context, JFE was dumped on the market for £8m round about the same time we paid £42m for Mangala.

Now we're (reportedly) prepared to pay nearly quadruple for JFE whilst (reportedly) having to bribe someone to take Mangala of our hands for a year.

And at the same time paying £15m p.a. for the world's finest coaching.

Fcukin good job it's not our money.

That truly was a classic.In those days there was no such things as video recorders so we (me and the missus) had to leave the pub early to get back in time to watch it.
Never missed a single episode.Wonderful and very funny programme.

Whats they point of having scouts ?
Virgil was playing alongside Denayer, the club should have noticed how good Virgil is during that time at least but somehow we missed it and he ended up with another club.

There are many other examples of poor scouting, hopefully Khaldoon will sort it out.

It was ever thus.
6 teams finished above Southampton the season they signed VVD out of which 3, maybe 4, have been linked with him this summer. It's not that easy or straightforward and it's not just us.
