Those close to Sanchez still saying it will happen, players have just as much power in situations like this.

Going to be fun in the arsenal camp after they leaked that story of all the players thinking he's a prick. He has no reason to try at all this year for them. Doesnt want to get injured as he has a world cup coming and wants to be injury free for his huge signing on fee for his next contract.

Txiki has gotten rid of Bony, Nolito, Iheanacho and waited until the last minute to sign a replacement in Sanchez. Despite everyone knowing we wanted him all summer.

If anyone thinks he's blameless then they're fucking clueless.

come to think of it, 55 plus 5 seems a bit off, doesnt it? Especially when tolmie said they wanted 75. I'm willing to bet anything that sanchez will sign tonight for 70 million, and this is all part of arsenals plan

Only way out for Arsenal is to get Sanchez to sign a new contract. I hardly think he'll be in the mood for that. Stop flapping it's done.

I still think it'll happen but i'll be gutted if it doesn't.
Sanchez is a great player and one of the best around, it'll still have been a good summer but getting Sanchez would have made it a great one.

Not sure how Tixi keeps getting stick on this forum.

There are two parties involved in negotiation he doesn't dictate terms?

I just personally feel that this takes it to a whole different level that even the complete joke club that they are won't accept. This would be considered a pretty massive statement telling city to fuck off and the right direction for the club to go if I'm putting the gooner glasses on. Regardless of logic. Would you start taking them mildly seriously if they stood their ground here? I would say it's a start. If they don't it's a joke club for a decade. Just my take is all. We'll see what they do.
I see where you are coming from but also think things will go from bad to worse during their actual season if they keep Sanchez (for the reasons I previously outlined).

That will make their situation even more publically recognised, escalated to calamity next summer (when they will likely lose their best player for nothing, sack their legacy manager, and have to start from scratch).

Arsenal are a complete joke. Even if we don't sign Sanchez now (which I am almost certain we will), I thank them for the entertainment value they have provided, and continue to provide. Keeping Sanchez is now even more of a nightmare scenario for them now than it was before - well played you fucking idiots lol.
