Arsenal, of course, will be sure they can get him to sign a new contract and make peace.

It can be the only reason they do not sell tonight.

I really don't get this pre contract nonsense. Why would you limit your options 6 months early? Is that not pure silliness? Makes no sense.

@Marvin maybe you can fill in here. You always talk about it.

Can Sanchez play in the Champions League if we sign him in January? Or will Arsenal playing in the Europa League fuck him over?

Lol. Arsenal is really gonna stand firm like I figured they would? Half surprised / half not. Put it out there that you can only get bitch slapped so many times and then you stand firm. Regardless of logic.

Cest la vie.

Throw 85m out there city. Jfc. Psg just spent half a billion.

Calling @Dax777. You got your wish.

PSG haven't spent half a billion, Mbappé is on loan this season

I'm expecting Gazidis to come back and accept our offer safe in the knowledge it'll piss the fans off but all the flak will be on Wenger. They'll use the too late to buy excuse.
Whatever happens the fans are going to nearly be as pissed off as Sanchez!!

Actually, when all this fizz and froth settles down, I'd think City will move on from Sanchez.

He will never now end up at City and who knows if his form dips he might have to settle for what's he's got rather than what he'd like.

A cautionary tale, really and nice to see players don't have all the power.

Arsenal are the huge losers out of this. They have a completely unmotivated player, they lose out on 70 million quod, they don't get lemar, fans are completely pissed off and Wenger looks even more of a twat.

What happens if Sanchez refuses to play and just goes on a Tevez style golfing holiday? Does he get fined but it's minuscule compared to what he'll be paid as a free agent in May?

Or Sane and Sterling can't be a striker ?

We have some weak fans these days, our attacking options are still better than anyone else imho.
Totally agree.

We have played David Silva as lone striker in the past FFS. Admittedly he is utter shite in front of goal, but we have played him there.
