Completely agree with this. I'm very comfortable with the anti-City media narrative. The worse they are, the better we must be doing.

I'll be more worried/bothered when the slimy cockroaches start blowing smoke up our arses like they do the rags and Team Sky.
Just this. Don't understand why people let themselves be so wound up by any of the media. Often looks to me that some people are desperate to be the new rags. Fuck that, I say. I used to hate it when we got patted on the head as 'everyone's favourite second team'. When the day comes that they're fawning over us, that's the day we're deemed to be harmless non-challengers again. Long may the hate continue.

Total bullshit reporting of course as he/she would not have privy to that location at that time.

I still do not know why you read such crap. If everyone ignored them they would soon be out of a job. Not bought a paper in 20 years.
Which location ? Where he did the skipping ? That was on the OS "In The Tunnel" and it made me smile no end.

Fuck me, that's one piece of absolute donkey spunk reporting. No wonder the cûnt who wrote it didn't dare put his name to it.

Incredible stuff.

Sterling should have supported them in this difficult time and not be happy his team won. Anyone beating the dippers cult should always show a respectful reverence to their sensitive victim mentality.

I cannot disagree more. First let me state I do not want to be the new Rags/Dippers but can you not see how the constant negative media is hurting us.
At the moment Sky rule the roost. If they decide to put an incident on 15 minute loop asking the Premier League to investigate and ban someone you can bet that player is usually banned. The problem is they do not do 15 minute loops on Rags or Dippers, they do it on us.
Another example is the one daft article that said the Rags had 659 million fans. It was based on internet searches nothing more. It is now almost written into law, everybody believes and quotes that statistic and it makes them look great. Reverse that to a negative quote about us, it is amazing how many neutrals think our ground is half empty and that we are destroying football.
This is a quote about the match yesterday by an internet site called Joe.com ....'Some of the home fans chanted that Liverpool, like United, "live in the past." Unlike City, United and Liverpool dominated English football in the past, and they achieved their success without funding from an oil-rich state which relies on migrants working in destitute conditions.'

Those last few words are a disgrace, but that is what is being put out regualrly about our club, it is bound to have a detrimental effect.

I went on the BBC website this morning and there is the click for MCFC 5 Dippers 0, and the entire article is based on how Liverpool lost! Risible.

I think that's reasonable. Offences with intent to hurt an opponent should be treated more seriously. The decision is the correct one. A straight red, but I do think it was a genuine attempt to play the ball so I can see an argument that the rules should treat deliberate intent more seriously.

Obviously if city are the guilty part, then we don't get this suggestion in the media, but that's a different discussion. There's still some merit in the argument
Talking shite as usual

Pardew on Sky with the Ritchie high kick in todays game v Swansea where he leaves the floor with both feet and kicks the lad in the arm only to get a yellow card. He says its worse than Mane who shouldnt have got a red card and that its reckless and endangering his opponent because and i quote, "unlike Mane, he is off the ground and not in control"

Has he actually seen the fucking mane challenge where not only is he flying in the air, both feet off the ground, he also kicks Ederson in the fucking head, not his arm ffs!

Fucking laughable the shite that these ****s come out with.

It's as though they're desperate for the rags and dippers to return to the top and dominate the league again but we're in the way and they don't like it at all.

Been thinking for a while about all this bias, crap being spouted about us,the relentless myths over our spending and exaggerated fees and even yesterday's game and the outcry for manes red card (you can bet if it was one of our players they would all be singing from the same hymn sheet). But maybe the hatred or jealousy is what is driving them to try and cause a split in the fan base or make us become disillusioned with the game which myself included I have at times especially last season with decisions in games, added to the favouring of other teams..maybe they hope that at the end of the day sheik mansour will also get fed up and sell up which they all want..

Joe.com? An article nobody will ever read unless it is mentioned on here. I've now read it, he's a rag or a dipper or writes to appeal to those clubs. His next story is about Pogba not being highly enough rated on FIFA 18. There will undoubtedly be a Pulitzer Prize winging its way to him very soon...

My point isn't about whether a Rag or Dipper wrote it, it is how the constant negative attacks on us feed into peoples heads and they believe it is true.

You expect to see stuff like that on football fan sites, it's the way most football fans are.....tribal.
It's the negative reporting in the national media which they aim to attract.

Pardew is just a bitter "old ****" which he called pellergrini once when we were stuffing his team yet again. He never did beat us when he was newcastle manager.
