BT were great tonight - all you would hope for with a British channel covering a British club in Europe. Seem to have taken all the criticism on board and changed. No more bitter, inarticulate, has been, talentless red ****s doing punditry.
 
Great to here some eloquent knowledgeable and balanced punditry from Joleon and Dunney tonight. What a difference from the likes of Chris Sutton and the crap that Gary Neville and the MOTD lot come out with. Add Roh Keane to that list, he is shocking.
 
Tbf though with the scousers and spurs in the champs league on the same night , we were shunted onto BTESPN so all their main fuckwit pundits were nowhere near us (thank fuck).

Yep, one Liverpool fan and two ex-city boys covering it in the studio. Don't think those two are the most articulate, but they are both 100% genuine, with an affinity for the English team playing, being shown on a British channel, so most welcome. Not sure many neutrals will have tuned into our game on ESPN, but having said that, we were the Freeview game, so maybe there were a few watching the masterclass.
 
If people want to influence the BBC etc then sign in every time there is a Have Your Say (Comments) on any City article, there were loads on the Rags, Spurs, Liverpool but hardly any on ours so make a comment and then they'll have to take notice.

And I'm sure I heard on talk shite that feyenoord lost to man city whilst spurs beat Dortmund.
They sure have a weird way of showing their affection for us lol.

I think if he looks at what Liverpool did in the 80s correctly and more in depth then he'll find that they basically cherry picked players who did well for their clubs against them.
John wark for Ipswich.
Paul Walsh for Luton.
Nigel spackman for Chelsea.
Gary gillespie for Coventry.
To name but a few!
I suppose John Barnes, Peter Beardsley and Craig Johnston all grew up in toxteth and came through the ranks.
Stanley really needs to think before he speaks.
