Yes they will and quite comfortably

The top three spots will be between ourselves, Chelsea and the rags and I expect the league to finish in that order
Fourth place I reckon will go to Arsenal. They'll just about get it together and scrape enough points for the automatic CL place

Liverpool and Spurs will have very average seasons, but still finish 5th and 6th

Spurs will piss the top 4, they have far too many goals in there team not too..

First time I've really seen them this season. They're a big powerful team who will see off the majority of the lower teams. It's more Barnsley than Barca and they seem more physical than last season, most of their challenges were borderline fouls and despite some rather lenient refereeing they looked like they gave away quite a few free kicks, not sure if they picked up any yellows. The onus will be on the better teams to break them down because it's a knocking bet Mourinho will set up very defensively against last year's top 5 and be content with a point.

Completely agree.

As I understand it, of their next 6 PL fixtures, 4 are away, including games at Anfield and Stamford bridge. Spurs are due to visit the swamp in that period. They are also away at Southampton and Huddersfield. Palace at home looks a gimme, but 5 of their next fixtures will be tricky. Personally, I'd expect them to take a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 12 points from that lot. Then the week before they play us in December they are away at Arsenal. They may well suffer four or five defeats in their next 10 or 11 games.

That they way I can see it falling

they won't be allowed to lose that many, hope they do as a 15 point lead at the top by the derby would be lovely

this, they'll lose 4/5 games max all season

There's a long way to go yet, a helluva long way, but I genuinely do not see them as title challengers because of Maureen's fiery temperament. He's even more irascible and tetchy than he was before and it won't be long before he has another outburst over some trivial matter or other. Look at the drama he caused over their draw with Stoke, not shaking hands and behaving like a spoilt child...again. Something, somewhere along the line will cause him to flip and he'll either walk or be sacked. Emotionally, the man is way too immature to handle it when things don't go his way.

You can guarantee another 'Maureen Meltdown' around Xmas/New Year when the fixtures are piling up, a long, hard run of games has taken its toll both mentally and physically, and injuries and suspensions start to accumulate somewhat rapidly. The strain will get to him, the media will start asking questions about their title credentials considering the money he's had to spend, and then he'll throw his customary hissy fit and it'll be dèja vu again with him.

Personally, the sooner the better.

Spuds always roll over at OT. Their record is embarrassing there

True, but the rags scarcely have a dominant record at Anfield or Stamford Bridge. The chances are the rags will beat Spurs at home, I grant you, but equally the chances are they will lose to Liverpool and Chelsea away.

Chelsea are our biggest rivals for the title.

It's City and Chelsea making up the top 2 in my opinion.

Agree with both of you. Beginning of the season I went City, Chelsea, United, Spurs. Still think that's what we'll end up with.

Once the games start coming and rotation is needed, none of the other top sides have the quality we do and that's where I think we'll win the league. The rags will be playing Carrick, Fellaini, Smalling, Young. Chelsea sees a massive dropoff after their preferred eleven. And Spurs will play a bunch of young English lads that give Pochettino praise but not points
