Ederson Moraes - 2017/18 performances

He's been brilliant so far. No disrespect to Bravo, but it makes a huge difference to the team when most shots on target are stopped. Happy with Bravo as a number two, but Ederson is clearly a huge upgrade on what we had last season.

He's the business isn't he? He lets us confidently play the high line so important to peps pressing game. The defence knows anything over the top is dealt with. Plus his distribution is ridiculous.
Like you say, it's all clicked with him.
 
Every game that goes by I am more impressed with him. We haven't even seen what a great shot stopper he is yet either. I wasn't sure when we signed him but it's becoming clear that we have a really special keeper.
 
I love how decisive we were with this guy. Fair play to the scouts. Ederson can play for any team in the world that has ambitions to actually play football. So so glad we got him before anyone else.
 
I said in pre-season this lad looked bloody good, it was the speed at which he narrowed the angle 1 vs 1 and smothered the ball at the strikers feet that just showed that little hint of bravery/craziness/stupidity. I used to play as a keeper (in school) by choice and loved it, you just have to be a little bit mental and when you see that you know you've got a good one.
 
He is a rock and as big as him to. I was very worried that kick to the face would knock his confidence to be himself, i need not have worried.

Their is a nice benefit to him being so solid and capable, it has allowed, imo, Bravo to get his head back a bit to giving us back the keeper we originally bought in him.

Very self assured. Confident. That transmits through the team and in particular the back 4.

Great distribution. He's mustard. We've got the real deal with this lad.
 
Reminds of Courtois - with a even better passing abillity. Phenomenal all round player!

His short distribution was mint
His commanding of his area was mint
His throw out to Sterling was mint
His smiley tattoo is mint
The fact he looks like a S.American boxer is mint.
I like him quite a bit
 
I remember reading a post from @RICK SLICK just after he signed and thinking if he's half as good as this fella says, we've got ourselves a world beater.

Early signs say he might just be better than what it says on the tin, the lad is absolutely superb.
 
Until a Red Dipper pointed it out, I didn't even realise we paid a world record fee for a keeper when we bought him. Considering Neymar went for £200m, this fella is worth every penny & more.

He is absolutely fearless & grows better with every game. When Chelsea resorted to slinging long, high balls into the box, Ederson looked like Hurcules when he went up to catch the ball through a crowd of players. It's early days, but this boy is something very, very special I tell ya!
 
Best keeper in the league.

Will take a few years to convince the BBC DDG fanboys - but we already know the reality.
Ederson can stop shots and actually catch a cross - unlike flapper DDG.
