Liverpool will murder there fullbacks, who are yet to be tested...... im salivating at the thought of sane up against Valencia as well!

Don't forget Liverpool is at Anfield. For all the stick we give him, Klopp's record vs. top 6 opposition at Anfield is very good - I think only 1 defeat and that was the insane game vs. Van Gaal where the approach was miles away from what Mourinho will offer.

I think they'll drop points in that game because they will go looking for a draw. Ironically they'll probably be applauded for it.

Had a bit of a giggle, watching the Chelsea game in the front bar of my local yesterday. The back lounge was full of rags (well, I am in Ireland) and the bar-owner wandered into them at half time...

"Did you hear what that fucker just said? 'Pep would want to be watching his back after that shit. 45 minutes of football and no goals... fuckin' disgraceful!'"

Now, he's a known piss-taker so one of the rags was duly despatched to ask me if I "really said that?".

"Oh, God yeah!" I replied before launching into a rant about how we should be scoring "at will, like United".

Hook, line and sinker... Myself and the Chelsea fan alongside me couldn't stop laughing at just how gullible those silly fuckers are.
 
This 'three trophies' nonsense is infuriating....

a. the community shield is not a trophy. It's always been seen a glorified friendly, not too long ago teams used to share the bloody shield when it ended a draw, and no one gives a shit if you lose. Arsene Wenger by their logic is the most successful manager currently as he has won 3 shields in the last four years to go with 3 FA Cups yet he's mocked endlessly.......

b. the league cup - it's the least important trophy but nice to win. You put your fringe players out and if you get to the S/F then you put the big guns out. We won it in 2016 but hey....our season was seen as underachievement and fairly so. The league cup didn't mask a poor league campaign. They herald beating Hull over two legs by one goal and getting the officials help in the final as a major achievement.

c. the europa league - a competition we weren't shit enough to be in.

I get why the media keep insisting they're 'JOINT' top.

But you'd think, that given United have finished behind specifically City twice on goal difference; Once to decide the league and once to decide CL qualification, that the media might have worked out by now that goal difference matters.

Maybe they have tried so hard to forget Sergio's goal against QPR that they have genuinely forgot it happened.

Well they all forgot how fcuking average a team they were before Baconchops pulled them up to Liverpool trophy haul they all think they always been in the Barcelona Madrid Bayern category of football club they haven’t they’ve always been an ok team.
 
Heard that Stephen Howson from fulltimewankers moaning about how people are comparing our results to theirs e.g. we scored more against Liverpool, Palace, Watford etc. but said how come no one is comparing their win over Everton to our draw against them. Maybe it's because we were playing with 10 men for most of the game you thick fucking whale.

Didn't Barcelona only win their first Champions Cup/League Trophy in 1992.
