yet to score in the league this season, whilst our forwards are flying. We know Pep's keen on the player, or was. I hope that that interest has waned.

What a pointless post. Yes. He's adapting his game, going inside and coming deeper for the ball, but the one thing we don't need is another no.10.
He's one of the most versatile forwards in world football which is a big reason why Pep is so keen to acquire him.

It wasn't pointless. If you'd seen him even this season, you'd see what a contribution he could (and should) be making to us. So versatile, and has such quality. We lack another option up front, if Jesus went down this week we'd have to play Sterling up front on his own till either he or Kun was back, and that's a lot to ask.

This, 100%.

Not sure what aspect of it being a squad game and us playing potentially around 60+ matches a season some folks on here don’t understand.

As it is now, I haven't changed my mind about Sanchez from a few months back. We don't need him as in we can cope without him, but I'm happy if we'd sign him. It looks like every player knows what to do in various positions within the systems being played by Pep. Pep looked at Sanchez mainly from the point to add to our scoring that doesn't seem a big issue anymore.

So far he has been poor and inferior to every City forward in our 1st team squad.

Excellent news,I'm sure the vast majority would agree.

Not convinced Arsenal will sell in January personally. I think they'll run his contract down, and we'll just have to hope that he doesn't get a more lucrative offer as a free agent.

They were mad not to sell in the summer, not selling in Jan is institution worthy....in regards other offers,I genuinely believe Pep is the pull.

I'm very skeptical Arsenal will sell in January unless Wenger manages to sign a player like Lemar as replacement, which I see as unlikely for this window at least. They've been looking better than expected in the league and Liverpool have struggled. If finishing top four remains a realistic ambition it doesn't really make sense for them to take the £20mm or so we would offer.

I think we will attempt to sign Sanchez and a left back in January.

A left back is probably the most important addition we could make.

I think I would prefer this transfer not to go through tbh.. we are already top heavy in attacking positions, how would this signing effect sterling and sanes progression..what of Bernardo who's barely featured..i don't feel like we need this signing and I feel Sanchez would just be one player too many up top.
