Harry Kane

Amazing that carthorses like him and Lewandonkey can just stand in the area and score lots of goals thanks to being big/strong and having more talented teammates putting it on a plate. Small forwards like Aguero, Suarez, Rooney actually have to work for their goals

Frankly only scoring two against a dismal Liverpool side shows that he still needs to improve. I am sure that at least 10 other strikers in the league could do that.

When Kane has done it for seven seasons and won a couple of premier league titles and several cups i will mention his name in the same breath as Aguero , until then i will let the media clamour for his impending knighthood.

I actually think he's bloody good. Goes against the grain on here by the looks of things. Some of the posts are a bit daft and come across as very bitter. No idea what blues have got to be bitter about though. Very odd.

As the rags regress they'll drip feed the media with tales of Bale and Kane just to keep the terminally dense interested.

The only place Kane will go is Spain, with Real Madrid his probable destination. That is the move that will see him out of Spurs with Levy likely to make a wedge on the deal.

The rags are so arrogant to think that he would leave a better team, who play good football for a set of hoof merchants. Although a smaller club in terms of prestige its like having BMW that handles well and runs like a dream and swapping it for a Ferrari that doesn't go. Looks nice, but fucking useless.

Arrogant big conk will be leading the line with Lumpaku for the forceable, as Greizman isnt stupid and saw the light.

Now, now, let’s get this right.

The rags dropped their interest in Griezman. When Mememememe was injured.

;-)

I don't think it's being bitter. Like most neutrals I think Kane's a good striker, but not a great one. Not yet, anyway. In time, who knows? But the predictable fawning by the English media doesn't help. According to the tabloids Harry Kane is the second coming, the new Messiah, a God amongst mere mortals. Many people (myself included) think it's way over-the-top.
As much as I think he's a very good goalscorer, there's something 'Matt Le-Tissier' about him: he's more often than not in the right place at the right time, and if he stays at Spuds my comparison will prove to be correct.

Englishman in England scoring goals in a world cup year, the press have to build up Englands chances even at this stage. Kane is very able (see what I did there)

Kane is the best English striker since Jimmy Greaves. The only positive for us is that Spurs have got no cover for him and he can't play 70 plus games. They will be our main rivals for the title this season with him leading the line.

I think he is a good striker in the spuds team where like it or not Poch, it is Harry's Hotspurs but would be interested to see if he could do it in another team .

Think England should build there team around him like Sven did for Rooney in 2004 Kane that good he will make the difference in the World Cup.

I would agree with you that the English press do love to big up an Englishman but you can't help but be impressed with his goal scoring record. There are very few strikers in the world who can score over 20 goals in the Prem for 3 seasons running. I think his all round game is a lot better than some in this thread give him credit for.
Will he stay at Spurs? I personally don't think he will. He will want trophies and he's not going to get them there. I keep hearing pundits (and spuds fans) bang on about him being "one of their own" but to me he comes across as a very hungry player. He will want to get to the very top and if he can't do it at Spurs I think he will move on.
