Jadon Sancho

Not attacking him, but if his judgement proves to be wrong, then HE might have some regrets but his decision , his choice .

If he is big enough to make that decision, hopefully he be big enough to accept that he might have been hasty in his decision .

You sound like a little man. Takes one to spot one ;). As fans I think it hurts to see him go but we shouldn't be so harsh or judgmental. I guess everyone is free to their opinion but he is young. My current stance is to put the "decision" in the past and wish him the best. Maybe one day we will see him back in Manchester. For now, just would like to see him make the most of his potential.

Don't think Sancho has been well advised , most likely his agent is earning a very tidy bundle whilst the lad has missed out on a World Cup winners medal and left a top six european club that is managed by someone who is possibly the best coach for improving young players looking at Pep's track record at Barca and the progress Stones, Sterling and Sane are making. At least Sancho has got a few bob in his pocket , and will probably get a few games in the Bundesliga coming off the bench , but what football agent has ever put a kids career before earning a nice wedge , leeches every last one of them

It's far too early for people to say if him leaving was a mistake or not. Fact is he wasn't gonna get game time in our team anytime soon and he is getting game time there. Now if he makes 10-15 appearances this season and then next season becomes a regular then clearly it was the right move and if he ends up barely playing then it wasn't. A lot of the posts on here just come across as sour grapes cos one of our promising talents dared to leave us.

What the club absolutely does need to use this as is a wake up call to actually show the academy talent that there is a path to the first team. Forget all this "Well you might get a cup game here or there" bollocks, they need to be shown that we are willing to give them a real opportunity. Maffeo played out of his skin against the rags in the cup last season and we shipped him off on loan and bought Danilo. Now he's showing against Real and Barca that he was already good enough to play for us this season

We had to fight tooth and nail to get Tosin to sign a new contract cos he wanted more game time and so far he's only had a cup game with bloody Mangala being preferred over him. Foden is quite likely the most promising player we've produced in a long long time and it will be interesting to see if he's given a proper opportunity or if it will just be a couple of cup games and back to the EDS.

Either we start putting our trust in them or there will be plenty more Sancho's.

Some excellent observations , unfortunately clubs like ourselves , Rags , Chavs who are expected to win trophies every season the pressure is on results , if Pep came 5th in the league and failed to win a trophy , but Foden , Adebaiyo and Diaz had played 25-30 games , Pep would likely be sacked .Maybe an over simplified view , but you can't have your cake and eat it , would love Pep to get the balance right and involve these brilliant youngsters whilst dominating football , it gives supporters great pride when a kid comes through the ranks .

We all do, but in this case these errors are being made by those who are older than him, are 'advising' him and who are charging him for these 'services'.
I think you're probably right about this. What 17 year old has a set of four advisors ? Let us save our critcism for them and cut a young man some slack.

Of course but that pressure will ALWAYS be there. We're one of Europe's biggest teams now, we'll always be going for trophies and titles. If we keep using that excuse then as I said there will be a lot more players that follow Sancho out the door.
