We need to keep on doing our job and pick up another 3 points tonight, I have always thought it is harder to chase down a lead than to maintain it. The rags will finish in the top 3 but they should be well behind us if we play as we can.

One thing is for sure though if we give them a chance to get back into the race before the derby then they will be well up for it, we need to assume they will beat Arsenal and we need to win both of our games. nothing less than 6 points over the next 2 games will be acceptable.

1 your still shit
2 mind the GAP
3 jog on scum

We'll just see what their tactics (in the loosest term) are against an attacking sided such as The Arse. Knowing Peg, I'm sure it will be the usual mix of breaking up the flow of the game and cynical fouls, with a lot of bus parking, followed by hoofball kick and chase, then diving like they've been taken out by a sniper in the final third under the slightest of touches in order to try and get a free kick. Pretty much exactly how they'll play against us.

Early goal wins it for us, we all know the united tactics and we’ve got to find a way round it, goal in the opening 15/20 mins and that throws the gameplay for them, if they chase an equaliser we will crucify them on the break. Longer it goes nil nil more likely we are to get done on the break, it’ll be lukaku, rashford and martial I think he’ll go with and we have to respect the pace they have and how dangerous they’ll be too us. We should be 11 clear by the time we play them so a draw really isn’t much use to them so we will see

well, the best thing about Pellegrini for me was actually the 2 games in 13/14 where we played them and whatever was said we went out and absolutely crushed them. Goal within a minute at OT by just flying out the blocks and leaving them helpless. That's my dream for us starting big games under Pep (which we don't do sadly) but going out and getting a very early goal and then dominating the game and keep adding regular goals to just crush their spirit. That first minute in 13/14 at OT they did not have a clue what to do against us and it was immense, I would love us to make that our calling card. Of course Mourinho isn't Moyes unfortunately but Pep is more astute than Pelle and I would love him to figure out how to bring that to our game.

Matic seems to have picked a muscle injury. Don't think they have much cover in that department as Herrera has been poor for some time now.
Now this could be an interesting development. If so then he faces the possibility of playing Pogba further back, which we saw previously means he goes awol, drop Pogba all together and have prawn sandwiches lobbed at his head all game, or pack the midfield with inferior players and hope they can rough us up without being pulled up.

I can see already Jose's gameplan of tactical fouling to interrupt us, go in late early on as statistically far less likely to get booked, and wind up our younger lads. There will be at least one red in this derby.

I don't think a simple foul in the box makes it a yellow card though there's no argument it was a penalty. I heard Silva talking about it but he was massively clutching there.

Scum win and raggie comes on and posts..just like day follows night.
Scum lose and he disappears like a fart in the wind.

Good win for them unfortunately.

We don't win tonight and watch the media go into overdrive of the rags catching us.
