Utd v City post match

The gulf in class between City and the Rags is now clear, they must be fucking gutted, brought in Mourinho
as a panic buy because we'd got Pep, blow the north end of £80 million on an oversized lump, who's standards are of the
Everton side he came from, and a style of football that's as interesting as watching a coffin warp.
Gives you a warm glow, which is a real tonic at this time of year.

Mourinho told them they couldn't win from the minute he held the tactics meeting and informed them they'd be conceding possession and sitting in their own box at home in the biggest game of the season.

People can debate the merits of parking the bus, but the fact remains that United took the same strategy into a game with us that Huddersfield did. Imagine how that must feel as a supposedly elite player?

It reminded me of how English clubs felt when going to Barca or Real at their peak. Yes they could plan and strategize and set themselves up defensively etc. And in football, freaky results can happen so there was always hope.

But in their hearts, visiting players thought "they are miles better than us, we're going to get battered here".

That's just how United looked yesterday. Frightened.

And we should be aiming for at least 56 to put it beyond all doubt. We probably won't get that many, but that should be the minimum target.
We will try to win every game. But a target of 56 is completely unnecessary. We won't need anything like that. United will lose at least a couple of games.

Walker's was well earned tbf.

One thing I just noticed during the highlights was that when Lukaku booted the ball up Smalling's arse, one of the reasons he didn't know anything about it was that he was looking the other way and giving Jesus a massive bear hug at the time. Good thing Ota scored so we didn't need the penalty, because I'm sure we wouldn't have got it.

To Steve Gerrard Song tune

Lukaku kaku
He tried to clear it hard
It hit Chris Samllings Arse
Otamendi Scored

Sorry if already posted, just saw this on Sadcafe - anything in it?

Apparently Mourinho had water squirted at him and was hit in the head by a plastic bottle. City and United players tried to swing punches at each other.

Hopefully no suspensions incoming for anyone but this is super petty.

This bust-up in the tunnel at Old Trafford today. It wasn't handbags: Mikel Arteta was left with blood pouring down face. Bottles as well as punches thrown. Romelu Lukaku prominently involved, according to witnesses.

They have every reason to be frightened too, facing De Bruyne, Silva, Sterling, Sane and Jesus.

We're far superior to them. They'll probably fall away now, it'd be funny if Chelsea and Liverpool and Spurs pip them to a CL spot.

Poor losers as well as shit and graceless. That sad outfit in Trafford really is a pile of shit isn't it.

The bastards had better not go crying to the FA asking for points deductions. Did that happen when they were exchanging pizzas with Arsenal a few years ago?

Funny how it's always them, makes their demise all the sweeter. Rag cünts.

It's a novelty for me to agree with anything that Moaniniho says but I have to agree with him saying we are lucky.
Lucky we have such great owners who don't leech money from the club.
Lucky we have a great stadium and not a rat infested shit hole.
Lucky we have a manager who epitomises everything good about football.
Lucky we have a magnificent team who play wonderful football and have the faith in each others ability to pass the ball under pressure.
Lucky we have fantastic fans who mostly have been there when we were shite and are revelling in our amazing football.
And even luckier that we don't have a whining ungracious twat as a manager and a team of nasty bastards.
Yes indeed we are very lucky.

As always, Pogba's valuation goes higher every game he misses.

TCIB has it right. Pogba would have made absolutely no difference yesterday. The fact he seems to have no defensive or positional discipline would have made it easier for us.
Rags seem to think they would have won with him, yet when you ask them to explain why, they have no answer. Would he have made any difference to their 35% possession and 60 odd % pass completion? Absolutely not. If you can't get the ball or keep the ball then you do not win football matches against better teams.
Pogba is a good player but he's a bit of a show pony. He is an icing on top of the cake type player. The problem for United was that they did not need icing yesterday, they needed a cake.

Who was the rag sycophant journo who publicly claimed on the radio that they would not lose?
