Now that I'm sober, and after re-watching the game, I can honestly say that we fully deserved that win. You get the feeling that they are bereft of ideas and fear for the worst every time we get the ball. Even if they leveled 2-2, you get the sense that we'd just up the tempo and score another goal or two. Calm and calculated, we're looking like champions indeed.

49 points would put us on 95 and mean this very average scum team would need to better the league's highest ever points tally in order to take the title. And do it in a season where another team, i.e. us, had also matched the highest ever tally. That is pretty much impossible.

So we need at most 49 points from 66. Probably 44 would do imo. We can afford to drop points in 6 or 7 games and still be champions.
