I have no doubt he will be offered a contract but we should be looking to move forward and bring in a direct replacement this summer either way. He would make a great utility player if we can find an adequate replacement for DM. Much better than Yaya who's legs are gone now.

I seem to remember an article a couple f months ago which claimed that City were negotiating contract extensions for David and Fernandinho, and then in January would be looking at a new one for Raz. Well David has extended so I am assuming (hoping) that we are well down the track with Fernandinho

Because of the possible suspension Pep rested him against West Ham so he could play in the derby. Does that mean he is still one yellow away from suspension? If so I'm assuming he'll be rested again at Swansea so that he doesn't miss the Spurs match on Saturday.

1st jan usually,sane and dinho needed to get the ban for the cup game to get it out of the way
