not the point

The point is if we clear up, Pep not receiving this particular award means fuck all, other than to illustrate the petty mindfullness and blatant dislike of our club by the football establishment - something we already know.

I'm totally with you that it's pathetic, as was Mancini and Pellegrini's lack of of the same accolade. However, it only shines a light on their own insecurities and fears which is something to cherish and savour, more so, in my opinion, than an award he obviously deserved but wasn't given.

Pellers won the PL title and League Cup in his first season in England and the MOTY award went to Pulis. The following season Mourinho won the same two trophies in his second spell in England and received the award.

When the same justification could have made for giving it to Pearson.

Guardiola has got City playing a completely different kind of game. Most in the Meedya are reluctantly acknowledging it, but they will argue that this was the expectation and anyone could have won the title with the players we have AND MONEY WE'VE SPENT, even though before the season started all the Rag acolytes in the RDAHMeedya had the Rags as favourites! It all points to BigFatSean being a shoe-in!

Who gives a shit.
Let the feckers be petty.
If City win the league in March then any other result than Pep would be shown to be totally petty and small minded.

Wilkins reckons they’ve got Lukaku, s goal machine, Pogba, one of the best midfielders on the planet, Matic, a world class holding midfielder and the best goalie in the world, so why are they so far behind then Ray??

Oh and the Prem is healthier for José being here and he loves him to bits

I don't think 'Jose' is healthier for being here nor loves anyone to bits.

As Pep says regularly we want to improve so he gets the players he wants because of results. The business plan requires spend but becomes investment if results happen yet remain spend if benefit is not seen to result.
United have certainly spent and may have got a little improvement but has the cost been worth it the Glazers may ask.
The same question for roughly the same outlay at City has a very positive result.

Yes we spend and spend from money earned as City income but it has proved to be worthwhile so I am proud our spend has proved to be investment.
