Since when did Craig Burley become the most pro City TV analyst?

Apart from ESPN being the most entertaining, particularly with the Burley-Steve Nicol rapport, he's also been quick to ridicule Wenger and Mourinho for their boring obsession with City's spending power, when in contrast, Guardiola has improved virtually every City player with his coaching methods.

Just watching that now, he went to town on a tweet sent in by a viewer. Said it must be a moaning United fan parrotting Mourinho's excuses haha

This is from the BBC’s main news website in its article about George Weah having a real chance of becoming his country’s president

Whatever petty biases the sports department may have I would be surprised if that infected the main news gathering service which is genuinely one of the world’s finest. Yet something tells me there is a reason for the very glaring omission.

Anyway make up your own minds.

The DT added Manchester City!

The ESPN pundits although prone to talking bollocks at least seem to be employed based on being opinionated and not on the basis of having played for certain clubs.

Bringing the best out of those at his disposal is a skill Guardiola honed during his time in charge of Barcelona, and Xavi says the Catalan is now overseeing a similar project in Manchester.

The legendary midfielder added: “City are playing with The DNA of Barcelona, but that is no surprise. Pep has Barcelona DNA and transmits that to Manchester City.

“The football they are playing is mesmerising. They are the in-form team in Europe"

Brilliant piece, looking at some of the comments one which has the same view point as myself, pep was ridiculed in his first season by all and sundry, you can’t play that way in England,it won’t work in the hardest league in the world,he’s been found out, premierleague is a completely different animal to la liga and Bundesliga, well I think so far pep has not just stamped all over the premier league he’s so far shown it up to be possibly not as great as a lot of media and pundits think he’s spreadeagled the league and they are struggling to come to terms with our team so much so that the majority of teams have decided the only tactic is to defend with 11 players at all costs ..

Sanchez is having bust ups with players at arsenal according to the guardian. Must be joining us then....

Jamie Carragher: "There is a flaw in Jose Mourinho's argument that the difference between Manchester United and Manchester City is money. If Pep Guardiola was in charge of the United squad I believe they would win the title." [Telegraph]

Me too. He also just called the guy from the Daisy Cutter blog a paedophile ... unbelievable statements from someone who claims to be a Journalist.

He's not a journalist mate. Twitter hands out blue ticks if you beg them enough - just look at the people in Trump's replies who have barely 5k followers.

Jose Mourinho on Pep Guardiola: "He had the goalkeeper of England [Joe Hart], he doesn’t like him. He buys the goalkeeper of Barcelona [Claudio Bravo], he doesn’t like him. He buys another one [Ederson], now he likes him" Has Zabaleta + Kolarov. Replaces them with 3; from Tottenham, Monaco + Real. Can we buy 6/7 players at same time + invest £600m/£700m? No. He buys he buys he buys. We can't"

LOL
