I think The boys showed real mettle this to survive the severe test against Palace, in previous seasons we have been hit with plenty of last minute sucker punches in games we should’ve won, Palace are now a decent team, and will give anyone a severe test at home.
Pep will make sure we are refocused for the Watford game, and unlike Palace have suffered a dip in form in recent weeks, they are indeed there for the taking.
We can draw a line under the winning streak, and move on to the next game.
Hopefully David Silva will be back, he is the hand that fits the City glove and wiggles all the fingers.
Let’s not forget we’ve got to New Year unbeaten, this team is too good to dwell on the missed opportunity, Pep will not let them, onwards to the next win boys!!

With this game coming just over 48hrs after today i worry that our players looked mentaly and physically tired. If we had longer to recover i would feel more optamistic, we just dont seem to firing on all cylinders the last few games. Hope i am wrong. Come on city i love this football club

To be fair, we are in a massive slump with numerous problems that need addressing before the Watford game.

No were not, granted we should be scoring more of the chances we create, but we are not in a massive slump. I'd hate to see some reactions when we finally do hit a slump. We've had a shit Christmas fixture list travelling wise, been kicked to fuck and have picked up injuries in the process, but are still winning, not conceding many, still unbeaten and still putting a shift in.
