Do we or don’t we need Sanchez?

My thoughts are that we need someone, and although I’m not as impressed with Sanchez as many on here are, I think he fits the bill.

We are light up top, and if Sane or Sterling we’re to get an injury and be out for 6 weeks that leaves us with just Bernardo to come in and no back ups whatsoever apart from youth.

Sanchez could potentially come in, and be able to play either CAM, LF, RF or ST and perform at a world class level in any of those positions.

My main issue with this deal is that we’d have to sign him on a 4-5 year contract, when he’s probably only got the legs for one or two more years at the top.

Besides being a versatile top class football player signing Sanchez would also send a message to the rest of the premier league and Europe! Yes we are flying this season and yes we have amazing players but guess what..... we just got even better!!!

A big transfer fee, wages, he will be 30 this year, it could affect the squad harmony, and Diaz would not play a single minute for the rest of the season (unless most of our attackers got injured at the same time). But he is a fantastic player though

That is why I rather want us to go for Sanchez in the summer, and not in january. Give Brahim some playtime with the first team, before he goes on loan to Girona in the summer. It would probably increase his confidence, if we give him some games before the summer

Is the right answer. I never want us to rest on our laurels again. It bit us in the arse after 2012. Re young players if they’re good enough their time will come. Same when players are starting to lose their efficacy, no room for sentiment at the top. Get him or someone else in.

The ability he has doesn't disappear overnight. He's just flustered with Arsenal struggling to challenge year on year and the transfers that came after him. He still puts a shift, 100%, but is not that bothered to punch above his weight. Playing it safe avoiding injuries, keeping himself on the market. Pep will elevate him to a better player than he is now Sanchez has the skills, Pep will provide the strategies to use them.

he is 17,he will play the cup games,he has plenty of time and growing up to do,sanchez is for here and now

Exactly. Completely agree, and I don't see how anyone who wants the best for the club wouldn't agree too.
