I know it gets said before every game but if we get an early goal then I think it could be a cricket score providing Pep goes full strength.

Normally, on a one-off game I'd agree. But don't you think an early goal (or 2) for us won't change their mindset at all? That they won't come out to try and play. I'm guessing they'd just keep sitting tight waiting for the 2nd leg.

Bristol here. Firstly, we all know what we’re up against!, you have a fantastic squad of players and the worlds best manager/coach.
What I will say though, is that we won’t come and park the bus, far from it. You will have no doubt seen how we played against ‘that other’ Manchester team in the last round!,well what you saw is how we play.
The last two games ( and defeats) against Villa and Watford are explainable to a degree. The Villa game was a game too far for the same players who played about 4 games in 10 days, this due to a long injury list which has meant the team virtually picked itself.
The Watford game today was played by a virtual reserve side and 2-3 young lads making their debuts.
75% of side that plays you on Tuesday will have had 8 days rest.
In some respects we play the same style as yourself’s ( your just a lot better at it than us!), we will play quick possession football and press you as high as we can when you have the ball.
I don’t see this changing on Tuesday, if we sit back and surrender possession you will take us apart, as you have done to just about everyone else.
There probably isn’t one Bristol City fan who thinks we will beat you over two legs, but we are in a cup semi final and we will make the most of it whatever!.
I’ve a lot of respect for your support, most of you will have been through the ‘shite’ years and must now be living the dream, we have had a lot of shite for a lot of years!!! We will enjoy Tuesday whatever the result, see you there.

Welcome and thanks for the info. My boss is a Bristol City fan, he said he’s going to give me a hard time if we give you a thumping lol

We should win. However we have no right to win.

Bristol City have done fantastic to get to this stage. Respect.

Let’s not be complacent.

You have our gratitude for dicking United.

Well done on knocking out 4 premier league clubs in a cup competition which in itself must be some sort of record.

Given Wolves look like they already have the title in their grasp your club has a big task to qualify for automatic promotion which has to be your primary target.

Of course this does not mean you won't throw everything and not select your best side available for the two ties as it might represent your best opportunity to reach a cup final in some time.

If you play with the style you have so far it will make for entertaining football.

Classy post - I got immense pleasure from you trampling the Scum into the dirt and forcing another Mourinho meltdown. Hope you get promoted

Bravo
Danilo
Kompany
Mangala
Delph
Gundogan
Toure
Bernardo
Diaz
Sane
Sterling

No way would I risk Kun with Jesus out and no replacement as yet

Full strength team, which picks itself. One game at a time, and this one is to get to a Cup Final and the chance of our first silverware under Pep. Tuesday game, so TONS of recovery time for the Dippers.

Win handsomely in first tie and you get to rest some in the second leg, if needed.

Maybe Delph and Vinny will be available.

Bring in Bernie and rest Ferny for Liverpool.

KDB and Sterling and Sane to Start along with Kun.

Our only rivals for the league, a far better side than Bristol and one game only so no second chance.
I also think its by far the most difficult league game we have left.

How on earth are they our only rivals for the league?
Bristol have already dispatched 4 PL teams - Pep will not underestimate them (even taking cognisance of it being two legged)
We can comfortably accommodate not winning at Klanfield with the lead we have built up
Towards the business end of the season, teams fighting relegation will give as much (and often more) than a team in the top half of the table
