Not sure if he is ready for watford but deffo ready for palace

Noticeable drop in the stoutness of our defensive shape when he went off, as well. Not a knock on Danilo, as I rate him highly, but he isn’t a centreback, at least not right now (thrown in at the end of a match).
 
I'll let him off with the odd mistake as he brings so much to our build up, same with Ederson.
 
Glad he didn't let the mistake affect his confidence much as he had another very good game other than that blip.

Played well. He hasn't played for 6/7 weeks so it's no big deal he made a mistake. Showed his ability after it.
 
Thought he looked a lot more composed and willing to pass the ball like his usual self than at the weekend, where I thought he looked very nervy, but that error was as bad as you'll see. Everything about it was wrong, a really unnecessary wild swipe and as much a mental error as a technical one. Hopefully just part of the rustiness that comes with being out for a while and he'll be back to his best in time for the games that matter.
 
For someone so composed it the mistake showed what happens when he panics , another couple games and he controls that turns and passes to Ederson
 
Woeful today, back to his worst. Surely can't help having Mangala and Bravo around him, but the two goals he's gifted this week are entirely on him as they were absolutely amateurish mistakes. Needs to get back to his early season form sharpish as we're counting on him

i wouldnt say he was woeful. the challenge for the penalty was bad, but other then that i thought he was alright. some good balls over to the right as well.

He repeatedly failed to track runs in behind him, got caught on the ball a couple of times and was generally just well off his best. He's shown he's a much better player than that
