The biggest difference I'm noticing with him this season is the confidence. Last season it felt like he tried to be a vocal leader but would quickly look nervous if he made a mistake or two. This season he seems to orchestrate the backline and just honestly looks brilliant when going in for challenges. Long may it continue. Very interested to see how he and Nico look against Napoli on Tuesday as they're better than any side we've played yet.

He genuinely reminded me of Vinnie too, probably for the first time since he's with us, while there is no doubt the has been brilliant whole season. But on Saturday, his no nonsense tackle-winning approach was totally spot on.
