Tactical reasons?

yeah i can just see them now, play a kid who you have just fined for being on the piss before a big game instead of a world class player that could win the game almost single handedly.

Wenger is a genius and he is also a bad liar.

Sanchez is ours.

Correct

Even if his form is not as good as last season Sanchez will occupy the opposition as much as Aguero - that's half the battle to allow space for others.

Since Jesus' injury it's become a must to get Sanchez. Not to is criminal now.

Agreed, all of our attacking players have been in patchy form yet still stand out thanks to how dominant our midfield 3 have been and to a slightly lesser extent the back line and Ederson. Sanchez will have no problem producing just as much as them if not more.

Depends, he'll have to stop constantly giving the ball away like he's been doing all year at Arsenal. No place for that here, but you'd hope that can be coached out of him pretty easily

Very noticeable when he came on tonight. Constantly trying the killer pass that was 5% chance of working. Fine to try it once every now and then but he lost it so often. Pep won’t stand for that.

God please have Kun stay and win CL with City. But at the same time I cant see him unhappy here. He gave us his best years, please God do something that keeps everyone happy. Pep, Alexis and most importantly Kun.

Same here. The idea of him resenting city hurts more than him potentially leaving. Hope everyone can find a place that suites them

He should have more passing options for us. KDB used to give the ball away a lot, but this season he rarely does. But Sanchez should spend more time getting on the end of stuff for us too.

I think Sanchez performance in the current City team, playing under a coach he clearly wants to reconnect with, will be vastly different to the Sanchez performing in an ordinary Arsenal side, where he no longer wants to be, under a manager he clearly doesn’t respect.

His off the ball movement and pressing has always been Pep's concern with him. He's made strides but it's gonna be difficult to change his mindset at his age. I'm certain that he'll still keep banging it in if he continues to play for us but I can see why Pep's infatuated with Gabriel Jesus. My hope is we get a 100m+ fee for him then use the money to sign someone like Timo Werner or Kane.

I doubt we’d sell Aguero for $100 million, as I don’t think we are a team to play hardball, because a club legend wants to leave. That has been stated before by Pep, that Serge stays until he wants.

I also doubt we’d pay the $500 million that Levy would want from us if we inquired about Kane.

Personally, I'd want Kun to stay here until he retires. But Kun has to get with Pep.

Meh. Kane will be wearing a rags shirt before he turns 30.

I worry about wenger at times, always in denial, about how average his team is, about deccissions that go his was in a dodgy fashion, about players leaving.

He will drag this out till end of the month if he can, Sanchez my need to tell him straight publicly he wants to go now as the man is in cloud cuckoo land with his fingers in his ears pretenting it ain't happening.

Wouldn't surprise me if we had to wait till the summer either. Come game 1 next season he'll defo be ours :)

I can understand If we bring him in now for a reduced fee because he could well be the difference in how far we go in the hunt for silverware. If he comes in the summer he will be fast approaching thirty and the outlay in term of signing on fee, wages and length of contract will be considerable for a player of that age. I think the Sanchez deal should have been done last summer, or as quickly as possible in this window because his worth to us in terms of squad strengthening is slowly diminishing. Come the summer it may well be that we look elsewhere for a younger alternative.

Worry is, if we were dealing with a remotely confident board hen he’d have arrived in August. Arsenal are very capable of messing this up again.
