Just a thought, maybe Arsenal are desperate to now sell and we know it.

If Sanchez is desperate to join us then maybe we have spoken with his agent to sit tight and we will come in for him in the last week of Jan.

The longer this goes on the more desperate Arsenal will become, If he has made it clear to Arsenal that he isn't going anywhere else then when we go in with a £20 million bid with days to go they have little option but to snap our hands off.

How many of our top targets have we actually missed out on? not many.

Thing is that Arsenal say they won't sell unless they get a replacement, and I for one believe them. I rate their chances of getting a replacement as very low, mainly because they don't seem to actually want the deal to happen. Then with hours to go we'll bid and they can say "Oops sorry you didn't give us time to get a replacement".

His agent would talk to Utd irrespective as he will have other players in the future, he will want to sell to them. He won't disrespect them.

The question is whether Sanchez would be happy to go there.

Swapping Arsenal for Utd, would be a bit of a tragic end to his career.

It would be a shame if he went to United as he seems to fit what we need in a 5th forward so perfectly.

In the end though, we'll have world class players queuing up for a chance to get into this side under Pep come the summer, and I certainly don't think Sanchez is so otherworldly he deserves so much more money than the players who got us this far ahead.

If he wants to win trophies as reported, he'll come here, even the most die hard United fans won't argue with that.

I posted it on here a least a week ago mate, they definitely sounded out his agents, and they said Sanchez only wanted Pep and City.

As you quite rightly state, the only question is where Sanchez head is currently at.
