Everyone’s looking at this like we’re not an insanely rich club.. we can pay £100m in the summer for a younger better Sanchez. We can afford £500m if need be. Who cares if we’ve missed out on him now. We don’t need him we can potentially win 4 trophies this year without him
With half a goalscorer and a midfield running on vapours

He obviously couldn't wait until the summer to get out of Arsenal. And I suppose the money wasn't an insignificant matter to the millionaire either. Ah well, shit happens. Time to give this thread a decent burial now.

You would hope we have a plan b. Aguero could get injured and Jesus will take weeks and weeks to get match fit. Big risk....
Yeah but we can't buy a player just because Jesus is out for the month. We would be then stuck with 3 players for one position when all are fit. We can't go buying players everytime someone gets injured, that is why we have Jesus and Aguero for 1 position.

'ANOTHER FORWARD MIGHT UPSET BALANCE'

City have been boosted by the news that Gabriel Jesus will be back playing in a fortnight, so are not under pressure to add to their attacking options this month.

Indeed, there is a feeling that adding another forward player might upset the equilibrium at the Premier League leaders.

Pep Guardiola does still want to add a central defender to his squad and the club maintain an interest in West Brom’s Jonny Evans.

GET IN. JFE as a reward.

That would really complete a great few days!

I thought we'd stopped making mistakes like this .

What mistakes have we made? We had a valuation for the player and a wage ceiling designed not to adversely damage the current wage structure.

United coming in has lifted the threshold of what Sanchez could receive, but were better than breaking our structure just because we want to prove a point or get one over our rivals. Were doing that on the field.

Alexis wanted to join city but are out due to financial reason. Arsenal demands now 40 Million and his agent atleast 350K per Week

United will offer 30M + 10 Million Agent fees +Miki and 400k Wages

I think the press will dress this signing as victory for the history club over oil money and will quote the lowest fees and salary they can to show what a good deal they have done. Been a shit week lose at the dippers they trounce Stoke and sign Sanchez. Sooner we can back to playing Newcastle the better.
