It's difficult to find anyone better than Griezmann for this system. I would take Mbappe, Dembele, Martial over him, but they're not gettable, sadly.

Griezmann- great finisher but doesn't press enough and is anonymous for large parts of games. That's before the ridiculous fee he would command.

Got a feeling Pep will pull another wildcard out, bit like Jesus and Sane but then also a Griezmann or Dybala type.

Fekir is interesting. His pace maybe an issue with him in that F9 role, I love how he plays and drifts past people, will be good to see how he does on Sunday v PSG but i'm surprised we haven't been linked with him before, he has added a lot of goals to his game from behind the St or when he has played up top.

Yes we can hope. I am not convinced by Dybala or Griezmann and both will cost £100m+. They are not good fits. Dybala can only play RW in our system and it’s not his best position. Griezmann is more flexible. I am not sure either are up to the standard needed, from the games I’ve seen it looks like they are both seriously overrated but maybe I’m wrong and Pep can work his magic.

Can see Fekir making the step up soon. Might try to watch that. There is also Inter-Roma at the same time which should be good as well.

It’s clear he doesn’t prefer to play the Pep way which is understandable and I wouldn’t be surprised if he chooses to leave but can also see him staying as it might be to early to go back to Argentina and going to another club in Europe means he will have to commit himself at least 3 years. I am 50/50 on this one.

If Mbappe came to us, he would have been off. Also, I feel Kun decides how good our season ends in terms of trophies. I really hope Jesus gets back to scoring sooner rather than later, in the meantime goals from our wingers and midfield should suffice. We need both our strikers scoring goals.

I used to watch this lad as one of my favorites , great pace decent first touch poor position ally but that was probably down to him being so young .but not great at shooting he is getting better though,
Another we should look at if we want a cheap Lewandowski or Kane is Kleindienst plays for Frieburg all the big German teams are looking at him now
