How much would soften the blow ?
Easy way out is like I have done stick a few quid on them to win league.
I stuck £30 on @ 66/1 -
So if we win ( which I expect ) I’m happy to pay £30 for the privilege....
If we balls it up - 2 grand is coming back .... so free season ticket next year.

The thing is united and Chelsea will put eggs in champs league basket so they will drop more points
Ideally united draw or lose to spurs in next game and we beat West Brom for me it’s icer at that point
I also think united Chelsea will be good

Cant see us getting less than 25 at the very worst from that so 90 points. Nobody else will get 90.These are the remains matches.
You'd think we'd win 5 out of 7 remaining home games. With United and Chelsea possible on the day. Maybe Leicester might cause us a problem? Draw?
Think we have 4 tricky away fixtures. Definitely Arsenal and Spurs. I will also include Burnley as Arsenal, Liverpool and United have only beaten them by 1 goal. And Everton, who aren't playing great, but we always struggle there. That leaves Stoke away, again on the day, and West Ham and Southampton. Games where both teams have nothing to play for.

In that case you can lay City at Betfair at 1.05. So your £1000 lay will cost £50 when we win the league or heaven forbid a £1000 payout should anyone else win it.

That would make it a 19 match winning run if they did, and given that our 18 match run this season has never been done before in England, that would be some feat!
In any case, that would take them to 92 points, so we need 9 wins and maybe a draw.
