So basically we're negotiating over the fee, since it's impossible for us to activate the release clause without paying an additional 45% in tax? So we're wanting to offer the amount of his release clause without actually activating it. Shakhtar have no obligation to accept that offer and want more money, naturally. We'll probably settle on a fee that is 10-15% higher than his release clause to 'save' money. So we must wait to see if it gets done before the deadline. Is that, in a nutshell, where we are at?

I really like what I see there. His ability to charge forward with the ball coupled with Fernandinho's discipline to drop in to replace him could really cause problems and free up runs for KDB, Sterling, Sane, Aguero and Jesus. But my god, the goal at the very end of that video us absurd.
