Well this spells an end to Foden and Diaz's careers here... Not even been given any real opportunities to shine.

Probably waiting for Leicester to get a replacement.I agree, and it wouldn’t surprise me if the deal was a fuck load closer than being made out, this could well be the usual bullshit posturing for the media and fans.
Maybe their owners are sadists .. ;-)
We don't control whether you bid or not.Let’s try again- why would Leicester continue to let us bid for a player, if they have no intention of selling him (in your opinion)??
As long as It’s an itsy bitsy teenie weenie Sky blue City bikini.
this has the sanchez summer saga wrriten all over it... we all know whats going to happen.... all the excitement us thinking hes coming then nothing happens.. Leicester will only sell for silly money which we wont pay and leicester will not bargain as they have no time to get a replacement... He aint coming
Fuck that. I hope we don't offer a penny less than £55 mill.Leicester are insistent that they will not accept any other offer until it comes down to £25 mill ;-)
Algeria didn't make the World Cup and City wouldn't wait until then to do a deal. Again, it makes considerable more sense from Leicester's point of view to wait until the summer than flog him last minute to City without an adequate replacement.
I think this will get done pretty quickly tomorrow and also think the fee is done, just pandering going on to appease the Leicester fans and the media.
I hope he gets unveiled on SSN tomorrow by Kristy Gallagher and Natalie Sawyer, both wearing City bikinis.
His transfer request was submitted in the summer, his latest one means nothing. It's just reiterating and trying to put pressure on the club, which won't work.Surely if they were valuing him at 90 mil, that could have been including his contract payoff & bonuses, in spite of what the Leicester fan has said.
It might be a lot less due to the transfer request.

Chelsea bid £15m for Drinkwater on the summer deadline and we told them to get screwed despite his transfer request until we got what we wanted. Which was £35m. We got it and the transfer happened.
So far, if the bids are true then they are nothing more than an insult to the club You cannot buy centre backs for £57m, with no prem experience. And then expect to take the best player from a cash rich premier league team, a player who has won the title and the player of the year award, has more goals and assists than Coutinho and Hazard in the last 3 years, for less.
If he goes I'm happy for him to go to you guys over the others as I can't stand any of them and I've love seeing him in your set up. He'd thrive. I'm just annoyed about the timing an the pathetic bid, considering the market at the moment and the form he's in.
This is what some people seem to be missing. As good as our season has been so far, our squad is still not deep enough to challenge on all fronts when we have injuries (and we always have injuries!). One more injury to an attacking player and the Champions League is an impossibility. The club won't want that. This season has the potential to be truly special, but we're going to throw that away by having too thin a squad? I doubt it. Get this deal done. The inflated fee will not be a problem when we're sitting on a treble.Really hope we can get this done. I think he’d be a brilliant addition. I keep reading from journalists and rival fans that City don’t need Mahrez, but going into the business end of the season with only three fit forwards (for three positions) would potentially jeopardise what could be a record breaking campaign. Makes much more sense to do summer business now.
What do they need a replacement for though ? To help them confirm that they can play their reserve team in the Europa League next season ?
Many of the agents, managers etc will fuck off on holiday etc next season & the transfer window shuts early August.
I'm sure that's why we are doing this now rather than because of Sané or ffp.
